My Dorky Halloween!

Okay so initially our plans were to go see "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" at the outdoor amphitheatre, however we didn't realize it was "CASH ONLY"....Whoops!!!

So after standing in the parking lot trying to come up with a back up plan, we decided to head to Earthfare to get a gluten-free Pizza so we could eat pizza and watch whatever cheesy scary movie was on TV. Well, get this....Earthfare was giving out FREE gluten-free Envirokidz Cereal Bars as "trick or treat". I am not gonna lie...

I was like a kid again right there in the front of Earthfare cashing in on the BEST treat ever! And YES I took TWO....

Moral of the story: I had a GREAT gluten-free Halloween!! I hope you did too!!

Boo! I went to Publix on Halloween and they were giving out delicious candy and cookies all over the store. I looked like I was drunk, weaving back and forth to avoid delicious free samples.

And then someone stole not just the candy in the bowl, but the bowl itself. After only 20 minutes. I felt sad for all the little kids in the neighborhood. Those darned teenagers ruin it for everyone!

Glad you had a good time. I miss cheese.

we took my daughter up to Life Grocery, they were handing out free Endangered Species chocolate bites and Candy Tree lollipops (both gluten-free!) I think it's great they were doing that...

dang that sux about the teenagers stealing the candy bowl... that's just wrong.

Sounds like fun, and I was in Germany a few years ago so you might find these articles helpful:

I don't think you have the URL/site address correct, as there is nothing at that site.

Hello All I am traveling to Germany in October and will be in Berlin, Rothenburg ODT , Salzburg, Fussen and Munich.  I am also driving the northern part of the romantic road with stops in some of the smaller towns along the way.  I would really appreciate any recommendations for gluten-free friendly places, restaurants and any gluten-free beer gardens.  Thanks in advance, Laura
