Thanks to the poster who suggested this. I think it's what I want to do and I'm willing to

pay out of pocket to have it done. The only question I have is, where do I go to do it?

I'd appreciate suggestions from folks who know or have had this done. Also, does anyone

know if you should just go on eating whatever, until you have the panel.

Thanks, Jerry

I got mine done at my naturopath's office. It's just a blood test that they send to a lab. A few "regular" doctors do the testing too, but probably not in Kaiser. See if Kaiser will refer you to a naturopath (some HMO's will do this) to start. If not, call around and see who in your area does it.

Keep eating "normally" until the test.

I discovered years after doing this testing that it's controversial. It was extremely accurate in my case though, and I think it's a great place to start. Apparently there's some room for false positives, but those are better than false negatives IMHO.

I plan on doing one through Lame Advertisement (remove the spaces and google). I called and talked to both York/Optimum Health and Lame Advertisement and was far more impressed with what A LCAT had to say and their time back and everything. Seemed like a much better test.

I'm ordering it next week. :)

I used Immunolabs. Their website will give you numbers to call to find someone who does it locally. I think its immunolabs.com They were extremely accurate for me.

BTW, we've done other articles on this topic that I wanted to share here (not to condone smoking!):

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

This is an older article, but may be helpful.

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?
