Reporting An Abuser

We have a feature here on the board where you can report a person who abuses the board. Maybe they might post something offensive etc. HOWEVER, lately I have gotten several emails reguarding posts that are NOT offensive at all. I am not sure why they are being reported!! Possibly people are hitting the wrong buttons?!? So what I am asking is PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be careful of what you are doing. I have to read each and everyone of those, and they have been nothing!! So thanks and be careful in your posts!

-Jessica

When a person hits the "report" button, does it automatically send you a notification of which post the user was reading at the time, or does the person actually have to type in a complaint and send it off? I'm just curious; I know that I DID accidentally hit the "report" button once, and I apologize if it created a nuisance for the moderators. I'll certainly try to be more careful in the future!

If you click the "Report" button on a post it will automatically send the post to a moderator for review. It is a formal complaint against that post, and you are claiming that it has violated the board's rules at:

Would it be possible to change the layout so the report button is in its own place, some distance away from all other buttons? This would probably take care of the accidental reporting problem. I'm not saying that it has to be done immediately, but if you decide to fiddle with the appearance of the board at all, that would be a good time to address this.

I have limited control of this, so I suppose the answer is no...sorry!

This has happened a few times recently and I just wanted to bring this string of posts back up so people would see that they need to be careful.

Please do not hit the REPORT button unless there is something in the post that is offensive or someone is abusing the board. Thank you.

God bless,

Mariann :)

      Thanks for your input.

If you have hemorrhoids 1x weekly I don't see how you have time to heal from one episode before you experience another one, unless each one is a very minor event. Have you consulted a physician about your hemorrhoid issue? It's not normal to be having an episode every week unless it is really one episode that is not completely healing between weekly flareups.

No I haven't had one since 2021. I rarely have more than 1 per week.

Sorry, I see that now as I reread your original post. You say you have hemorrhoids "only once a week" now. When I develop hemorrhoids, which is once every few years now, it generally takes 3-4 days for healing to take place. So, it doesn't seem like you could have much relief time between episodes if you have them weekly. Have you had a lower GI scoping done recently?

Everyday I eat a medium to large apple in the morning and a large banana at night. I eat a cup of oatmeal in the evening. The ezekiel wheat bread I eat has a good amount of fiber. I haven't dealt with constipation for at least a year. Most of the time my feces are soft.
