Is there a list somewhere of foods that most stores carry? My father was recently diagnosed and we live in New Orleans, where there are still few food stores, and our Whole Foods is pretty small. I know like Cocoa Pebbles and Fruity Pebbles but is there anywhere i can find list of items?

Look for the Delphi list - they just put a new one out in September.

Someone on here might jump in with a link, but otherwise just google Delphi and gluten and you should find it. It's like 30+ pages long, but has a LOT of info with brands, contact info, and confirmations.

Good luck!

It might be 30 pages long but it's what I'm looking for. THe list is great in orginization, I can bring it with me the first few shopping times and easily find what i am looking for based on what it is. My dad is so happy because he was told Hersheys is out but we just found he can eat like butterfingers and stuff so he's happy.

dont forget to try in Walmart their "great value" brand, all their products are excellented labeled as GLUTEN FREE (of course the one that are), but since im new in this also, that made it easer..

So there was no physical, plastic card involved, correct?

When my wife attempted to open the online card in the store with a cashier, it would not work. We then showed the owner the link to the card, the online receipt that I got upon purchase, and even my bank statement confirming the purchase. That did not satisfy her, since she said she needed the link to open to reveal the gift ID num. They even admitted they had a systems problem around that time.

Was the card itself lost or just the record or both?

We were flabergasted that the owner would not acknowledge a $50 e-gift card I purchased for my celiac wife. My wife tried to open it in the store and was informed there had been a system change and they could not find the record. No worries, she was told, just talk to management. Six months later, and numerous absurd back and forths, and the owner literally informs me there have been "bad actors", so she can't make good on this lost gift card. In other words, she accused me of lying and committing fraud... over $50! Please be careful with your orders and purchases here.
