High Body Temperature As A Symptom

I was wondering how many of you have a high body temperature. At night, my body gives off a lot of heat - my partner describes it as cuddling with a furnance. It is also at dinner that I will eat my most glutenous meals - pastas, breads etc.

Just curious if anyone else suffers from this.

My daughter used to be like a furnace. She frequently felt, to me, like she had a fever but she didn't. I never connected it to gluten but now that she is gluten-free, I haven't noticed it.

I'm like that but it is from my thyroid.....

My DH says that I always feel really hot. I am always really cold though. The only thing that doesn't feel hot are my feet and hands. My hands are always cold.

I have been rejected by the American Red Cross blood drives 3 times in three years because of high body temperature----not sick that I know of. I do have icy hands and feet.

I also have the cold hands and feet as well. As far as I know my thyroid is functioning fine. I got an MRI done on it 14 years ago, when I was having some really bizarre symptoms following getting glandular fever (mono) - my glands were swelling up every 2 weeks.

My blood test is on this Monday morning, so I guess I will soon fine out whether I do have celiac's or not.

I was always hot pre-gluten free. My parents and sister would fight over who I was going to sleep with when we went camping. (I was a small child). They said I was a heater. I would also get really hot when I would have a "celiac attack". So much that I would feel like I would hurl and have to peel all my clothes off when I was sitting on the toilet.

They may want to also eliminate other possible causes for your symptoms/issues and are doing additional tests.  Here is info about blood tests for celiac disease--if positive an endoscopy where biopsies of your intestinal villi are taken to confirm is the typical follow up.

In the Europe the new protocol for making a celiac disease diagnosis in children is if their tTg-IgA (tissue transglutaminase IgA) levels are 10 times or above the positive level for celiac disease--and you are above that level. According to the latest research, if the blood test results are at certain high levels that range between 5-10 times the reference range for a positive celiac disease diagnosis, it may not be necessary to confirm the results using an endoscopy/biopsy: Blood Test Alone Can Diagnose Celiac Disease in Most Children and Adults TGA-IgA at or Above Five Times Normal Limit in Kids Indicates Celiac Disease in Nearly All Cases No More Biopsies to Diagnose Celiac Disease in Children! May I ask why you've had so many past tTg-IgA tests done, and many of them seem to have been done 3 times during short time intervals?

@JettaGirl, "Coeliac" is the British spelling of "celiac". Same disease.

This may sound ridiculous but is this supposed to say Celiacs? I looked up Coeliacs because you never know, there’s a lot of diseases related to a disease that they come up with similar names for. It’s probably meant to say Celiacs but I just wanted to confirm.

I was told it was to see how much damage has been caused. But just told CT with contrast not any other name for it.
