Just A Thought

We should let the companies that print GLUTEN FREE on their packages how happy we are. I've notice how happy in the posts from Coffeemate and Edy's just recently. I think with the new labeling laws many companies are trying to protect themselves. So maybe if we keep praising the ones that willingly do it now, more will follow. Just a thought. Wendy

I do try to do this. I have called several companies to thank them, and I emailed at least one. Positive feedback just might encourage them to do more.

Yup, me too. I always make a point of letting the "gluten free" ones know I'm happy :P I want them to continue to make it easy for us.

It is a good idea though ... would be good if we could figure out how to do it as a group. But they must be getting the idea of just how many of us they help.

Well, I wish Walmart Canada would get on board with the gluten-free labelling, Darn it!

      Thanks for your input.

If you have hemorrhoids 1x weekly I don't see how you have time to heal from one episode before you experience another one, unless each one is a very minor event. Have you consulted a physician about your hemorrhoid issue? It's not normal to be having an episode every week unless it is really one episode that is not completely healing between weekly flareups.

No I haven't had one since 2021. I rarely have more than 1 per week.

Sorry, I see that now as I reread your original post. You say you have hemorrhoids "only once a week" now. When I develop hemorrhoids, which is once every few years now, it generally takes 3-4 days for healing to take place. So, it doesn't seem like you could have much relief time between episodes if you have them weekly. Have you had a lower GI scoping done recently?

Everyday I eat a medium to large apple in the morning and a large banana at night. I eat a cup of oatmeal in the evening. The ezekiel wheat bread I eat has a good amount of fiber. I haven't dealt with constipation for at least a year. Most of the time my feces are soft.
