Rehobeth is close to Bethany Beach, right? If so, I can give you some great suggestions!

Big Easy Seafood & Steakhouse - Bethany Beach

Outback - Rehoboth Beach

Both are celiac friendly, but the rule of thumb is alway check with the manager.

Ahh, yes Big Easy was awesome! The owners' children are Celiac, so they are very knowledgeable and accomodating. When I was there (2 summers ago), they said that if you gave them advanced notice, they could do gluten-free breading on several menu items.

I forget the name right now... but there is also an italian restaurant that was very, very good with me. I didn't have high hopes with it being italian and all, but they said that if I had brought my own pasta, they would have carefully cooked it separately for me. As it was, I had a delicious mozarella tomato salad with balsamic dressing. Yum!

It's unfortunate that the gluten-free cafe "Too Life" has been sold - but you may want to check it out by the chance that the new owners still sell gluten-free goodies. It was located in Fenwick Island. There is also a nice health food store (again, the name escapes me) that has a decent supply of gluten-free items in Bethany.

Good luck!!! I found that area to be very Celiac friendly!

I can say Cape May was great, I am hoping to see some responses for other shores though. In case we venture somewhere else.

Thanks that's what I didn't know about soy hidden with wheat. I know it's autoimmune but want sure about sensitivity to corn or eggs. There's no tests for these which are non gluten is there? I have had gluten free tortillas pastas made with corn and have had eggs so I don't think it bothers me but I was curious if there was a test that does sure sensitivities to these non gluten items for gluten-free people. Thanks

And of course I get these results (the ttg iga marked high at 646 mg/dL) on a Friday in my portal, my doctor wasn't in, and now we are in the weekend—leaving me to have to try and figure things out on my own until sometime next week. None of the nurses at the office would talk to me.
