I Knew Better Not To Eat That

Hello all

I just had a week moment, and I knew better not to have this marble type sweet bread from the cafetria at my work. I ate it, which was good but now I could fall right to sleep and I have anoher 3 -4 hours before I can go to bed and sleep it off, this is just as bad as getting drunk off of alcohol which I have not been in over 8 yrs. I know I will regret every last bit, when will i ever learn.

I'm sorry this happened to you, yet only you can stop it from happening again. If you truly want to be healthy, you must not eat gluten. Only you can stop. I was so sick before going gluten free, I never put gluten in my mouth again after being gluten free, not knowingly anyways. Yes, I miss so many favorites, but I do not miss them enough to be sick.

Feel better.

On the positive side, it's reinforcement. It will help solidify your resolve never to do it again. Sometimes we need such things to remind us why we need to refrain. You'll get there!

very very , true I did it because i wanted comfort food, and i am not at home, i'm at work, so next time it won't happen again, I also wanted to make sure that it is something that i can't have and its not.

Deb, the little girl in your picture looks like a friend on my dd here in Texas, Bailee L. surly not.

Thanks Donna

Thank you that’s really helpful, hopeful won’t have to have a biopsy.

That means the normal range (i.e. not celiac disease) would be a result less than 14.99.  Your result is WAY above that. Some gastroenterologists would diagnose that as celiac disease even without a confirming biopsy because it is more than ten times the top of the normal range.

Hi everyone. Back in 2022 I had blood work drawn for iga ext gliadin. Since then I’ve developed worse stomach issues and all other health issues. My doctor just said cut out gluten. He did no further testing. Please see my test results attached. I just need some direction cause I feel so ill and the stomach pain is becoming worse. Can this test show indications for other gastrointestinal diseases?

Thank you. These were the results TTG ABS NUMERICAL: > 250.0 U/mL [< 14.99]  Really don’t understand the results!

Clearly from what you've said the info on Dailymed is much more up to date than the other site, which hasn't been updated since 2017. The fact that some companies might be repackaging drugs does not mean the info on the ingredients is not correct.
