Yoplait Label Says Gluten Free

I'm sitting here eating Yoplait Thick & Creamy Strawberry Banana yogurt, and I notice it says "gluten free" right on the label below the ingredients. There's a 2007 copyright on the front. Anyone know when they started labeling with the words gluten-free? My son is our resident celiac, and we've only given him Yoplait since going gluten free.

I noticed it too, the last few batches we've bought. We're loyal Yoplait eaters anyway so it was nice to see them add this to the label. DD loves the cherry yoplait and it's one way I can get her to eat dairy and get some calcium into her as she's not a big dairy fan otherwise.

I started seeing this a few months ago, one word of caution though the cherry vanilla does NOT have the gluten-free label, it was my DS's fav and he was wondering for a long time where he was getting gluten. I called yoplait to see if maybe it was just older containers but some part of the flavoring in that one wasn't safe. This was a couple months ago so I don't know if it still applies to that flavor. Be sure to look for the gluten free label on each flavor.

I was confused about why some containers say gluten free and others do not, so I called them. I was told that Yoplait will continue to list all gluten in the ingredients, they are General Mills company, and that some of the yogurts just don't have the "gluten free" label yet. According to them, even if the container does not have the gluten free label and there are no gluten sources in the ingredients, then it is still gluten free.

Is there any Yoplait Yogurt that DOES contain gluten (other than the obvious cookies/granola type)?

I have noticed any.

BTW, we've done other articles on this topic that I wanted to share here (not to condone smoking!):

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

This is an older article, but may be helpful.

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?
