It Was Solid... And It Sank!

I've been gluten free for almost 6 weeks now, and last night I had my first bowel movement that was solid AND sank! They have been mostly solid for a couple of weeks, but all have been floaters until now.

I am assuming that this means that I am probably absorbing most (if not all) of the nutrients and stuff I'm eating... right? YEAH!!!

Yes, sigh, it is the little things.

But I am still waiting nearly two years down the line for mine to be sinkers!

Cathy

Didn't mean to put in a grumpy face, I tried to get rid of it and thought I had.

Congrats :)

I swear it took me over a year, and even then it was close to two before it happened regularly.

These kind of posts make me laugh. Oh the things us celiacs are proud of!

Congrats!

Thank you.. Christina My anxiety is through the roof.  I think it was from eggs.  I really don't know because my eyes feel sore. Like I'm allergic to them.  I was defient in B12.   My heart is pounding and it won't stop.  Not sure what to do.   I don't have much support other than this forum.    Colleen

Thanks rmj when I first rang up it was we can't do it without , but I talked to a lovely lady and she sorted it all out for me, so it pays to be persistent , I would have had to decline if I hadn't been given the water option too , so yes I'm glad too 😌

I’m so glad they listened to your concerns!  I hope you get some answers from the MRI.

Had my MRI today I didn't have to have the manitol with my allergy's , I just had a litre of water , they were great with my concerns , so let's see if anything comes of if will keep posted once I have results 👍

Thank you ,it’s been a long road for me for having both now ,what upsets the most is that if they discovered that I also have cealiac earlier I would not have injested gluten if I was aware. Double whammy.
