Accurate Lab Results After Blood Drawn 12 Days Ago?

The lab (ACL) neglected to run the gluten test for my son after his blood was drawn 12 days ago (12/20/07). They said the blood would still be good for testing until 1/2/08 and they would test today.

Does this sound like it will give us accurate results? My son is 2, so to draw more blood will be no picnic, but I want accurate testing.

What would you do?

It shouldn't be a problem. I used to work in a lab, and to do a lot of special tests they use serum. So if he had other tests drawn, they already have that serum they need and it has been stored in the ideal manner.

We used to get people who would have multiple tubes of blood drawn since they were trying to determine a diagnosis. One of the reasons to draw so many tubes was to have specimens to be available should they need to add tests.

The Lindt (Lindor) dairy-free oat milk truffles are definitely gluten-free, and (last time I checked) so are the white chocolate truffles and the mint chocolate truffles.

I've used magnesium taurinate and magnesium taurate vitamins.  Didn't notice much of a difference when I used them.

More great tips, and a good excuse to shop at M&S and also buy more iced buns!   I wish we had an ASDA near us, as the few times we've been to one their gluten-free pasta range seemed very reasonably priced compared to other shops.  Thanks so much, @Russ H.
