Here is an e-mail I just received from Elephant Bar. It doesn't look very celiac friendly to me! :(

Thank you for taking the time to e-mail us at the Elephant Bar

Restaurant. We understand the need for information on gluten free items,

but unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that any of our menu items are

gluten free or do not contain traces thereof.

Ingredients that make up the menu items may contain gluten, or even

traces of gluten, rye, barley and other grains that are also capable of

exacerbating the disease. These items are purchased from outside vendors

and we do not have control over the make up of their ingredients.

Please keep in mind that our wait staff and our chefs will be more than

pleased to accommodate any requests or changes on our menu items.

Thank you again for contacting us!

Thank You,

Lauren Oates

      What artice?

Good point, as thyroid conditions are more common in those with celiac disease: https://www.celiac.com/celiac-disease/celiac-disease-amp-related-diseases-and-disorders/thyroid-pancreatic-disorders-and-celiac-disease/

@DebD5 it sounds like you are in the super sensitive celiac disease zone--and if so your reactions are real, and not psychological, as your doctor implied.  It's also possible you have other dietary triggers so be sure to look at that article in my last post in this thread.
