Vodka?

Can someone recommend a brand of Vodka that's safe for us Celiacs? I've been told that Belvedre is okay but the bottle says it's made from grain. I've also been told that Stoli is okay but it's not exactly my favorite. I'm missing Grey Goose and Kettle One. :(

I'm not sure of the brand, but we bought one that clearly says "Potato Vodka" on the front.

The distillation process gets rid of the gluten, so distilled alcohol ie: vodka, is safe. Some of the flavored ones are under suspicion. That being said, if you want to avoid grain alcohols, there are some fabu Potato Vodkas out there.

Blue Ice is from Idaho, and is readily available. Chopin is from Poland and is by far my fav Vodka. Grand Teton is a US vodka, but can be hard to find. There are also soy and grape based vodka's, but I haven't cared for them. I'm kinda snobby about my booze.

I had found that even though distilled, vodka's made from grains were a bother.

So, I emailed a few and received this from Smirnoff:

There is also Luksusowa potato vodka which worked very well.

Ciroc (i think i'm spelling that right) is a vodka made from grapes and very tasty; however pretty pricey.

The Lindt (Lindor) dairy-free oat milk truffles are definitely gluten-free, and (last time I checked) so are the white chocolate truffles and the mint chocolate truffles.

I've used magnesium taurinate and magnesium taurate vitamins.  Didn't notice much of a difference when I used them.

More great tips, and a good excuse to shop at M&S and also buy more iced buns!   I wish we had an ASDA near us, as the few times we've been to one their gluten-free pasta range seemed very reasonably priced compared to other shops.  Thanks so much, @Russ H.
