Chicken Bouillon Cubes

Hi All! Can anyone recommend a chicken broth or bouillon cubes that doesn't have gluten hidden in it? All I have come across has the mystery 'natural flavor' and I'm scared to try it.

Thanks!

Amanda

I use the Pacific Foods brand for all my broths. They are all natural (hooray!) and say gluten free right on the side.

HerbOX Chicken and Beef Broth and Cubes are gluten free.

I second the HerbOx recommendation. They have a good flavor, and don't have a lot of extra junk, either.

I put it in EVERYTHING from spaghetti sauce to rice, eggs and potatoes...anything that boils. :D

I particularly like to put the chicken ones in boiling potatoes, and the beef ones in green beans! It's much healthier than dumping in salt and butter. :D I've used them in rice, too, but I never would have thought of eggs.

Thanks everyone, I'll need to check both of those out. :)

Use chicken bouillon when boiling brussel sprouts.

Not one of my favorite veggies, but they are actually rather good this way.

OH!!! ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!! :lol::lol::lol:

I also use Better Than Bouillon. Works great when you need some flavoring but don't have the water/liquid to dissolve a cube in.

If you're a poor college kid like me, Swanson's beef and broths are both gluten-free and affordable. That's pre-made broth, though, not bullion.

We use this one too. It tastes better than any boullion cubes I have had. Delicious!

My boyfriend has celiac as well as being allergic to soy & dairy. Does anyone know of any brands that are also soy & milk free?

Or is there a way to turn chicken stock into a relative equivalent? I have an awesome steak marinade I love but it calls for bouillion with very little liquid.

Its one of my favorite recipes but I'd rather not poison my sweetie... Somehow I don't think he'd appreciate it very much either. Any help would be appreciated!

You marinate steak with chicken?  Herb Ox makes a sodium free powder that is soy and dairy free, too

That means the normal range (i.e. not celiac disease) would be a result less than 14.99.  Your result is WAY above that. Some gastroenterologists would diagnose that as celiac disease even without a confirming biopsy because it is more than ten times the top of the normal range.

Hi everyone. Back in 2022 I had blood work drawn for iga ext gliadin. Since then I’ve developed worse stomach issues and all other health issues. My doctor just said cut out gluten. He did no further testing. Please see my test results attached. I just need some direction cause I feel so ill and the stomach pain is becoming worse. Can this test show indications for other gastrointestinal diseases?

Thank you. These were the results TTG ABS NUMERICAL: > 250.0 U/mL [< 14.99]  Really don’t understand the results!

Clearly from what you've said the info on Dailymed is much more up to date than the other site, which hasn't been updated since 2017. The fact that some companies might be repackaging drugs does not mean the info on the ingredients is not correct.

To evaluate the TTG antibody result we’d need to know the normal range for that lab.  Labs don’t all use the same units.  However, based on any normal ranges that I’ve seen and the listed result being greater than a number rather than a specific number, I’d say yes, that is high! Higher than the range where the test can give a quantitative result. You got good advice not to change your diet yet.  If you went gluten free your intestines would start to heal, confusing any further testing,
