Ufood Grill?

We've just had a uFood Grill open in Bedford, MA and they have a pretty good Gluten-free/Allergen-free Menu. I was wondering if anyone has eaten at the chain yet and had any reactions to the food? Just found out about them yesterday on Open Original Shared Link , he's the mascot/figurehead for the chain.

Have not tried it yet...I believe it was the old "know fat" place on Rt4? I might consider making my husband stop there on the way home from work one night.

Actually, while typing this, I checked out the website. One of the gluten-free items was a "buffalo blue wrap" (just order without the wrap). Well, Blue Cheese isn't gluten free....I would still be careful with their menu though.

I didn't realize Bleu Cheese wasn't gluten-free munkee41182, thank you for the warning. I'm definitely leery now about trying them. Where's the "know fat" place though? Is it near Stop&Shop or Whole Foods or somewhere else entirely?

The "know fat" place I believe is right where Ufood is...across from the gas station (Mobile I think it is??) and right next to the Gulf gas station.

But Blue cheese is usually made from bread. Personally I dont like blue cheese so this isn't something that's missed. Just another thing to keep an eye out for!

Absolutely my point with Kerrigan, the owner. She stood to secure many years of faithful patronage by simply inviting us in for a pastry or lunch. Or by simply producing another $50 e-card based on trust. We would have been highly satisfied. We are limited to a few restaurants in the area, and that would have been one. It was very disappointing, esp to my wife, to realize we can't patronize the place anymore.

You would think any business would see the wisdom of honoring a $50 gift certificate on the basis of customer satisfaction alone, apart from any questions about software glitches.

So there was no physical, plastic card involved, correct?

When my wife attempted to open the online card in the store with a cashier, it would not work. We then showed the owner the link to the card, the online receipt that I got upon purchase, and even my bank statement confirming the purchase. That did not satisfy her, since she said she needed the link to open to reveal the gift ID num. They even admitted they had a systems problem around that time.
