Idaho Moving To Arizona

Hello I'm from Idaho, currentlly still here, grew up here too. Soon I plan to move to Arizona so I'm wondering who all is in either area? :D I'm and art student, female and single ;) lol Kind of checking the scene here for friends or so.

Was looking at Phoenix or Gilbert. Not sure now, but sure would enjoy the hot summers :D Boise is getting a bit chilly for me. ;) I was living in Mooscow Idaho, which had temperatures in the negatives most of the winter....BRRR> totally tired of that.

Your from AZ? Where did you grow up at?

OK, I guessing here, that since you are a student you are in your 20's. (Although I've been a student in my 20's and then again in my 30's) Tempe, just outside of Phoenix, is a big college town. Also, lots of night life, if that's your thing in Scottsdale. From what I hear, Gilbert is a big family-oriented city.

I'm in my 40's and married (17 years) so I'm really out of all of the single stuff.

I grew up in Dallas. We moved to AZ in 1991. I like it here, but would move back to Dallas in a heartbeat. (Tons of family in Dallas and Austin.)

You will love the winters here. Right now, it is in the 80's, but will drop to the 70's soon. The nights are cool so you can sleep with the windows open.

I'm sure there must be others on this forum that can give you info on the single lifestyle here. I have to say that people are pretty friendly in Arizona.

If you're looking for warm weather Yuma, AZ has it. We have very little in the way of college or nightime/social/singles life, but you can't get much warmer and stay in the US.

hi! i have lived in arizona for a little over a year now. i live in the glendale area. it is pretty nice here. the summers are a little hard to manage though, especially if you're from a colder climate. i moved here from new jersey. (dh is in the air force)

Cool I'm looking forward to more vitamin D, lol. Also, I'm use to the Lewiston valley summers which are a desert heat. Just outside of town on the highway to washington or southern Idaho there are cacti and tumbleweeds. The summers often get to 100 easy and a couple summers I remember the temp at 120 F and all the black roads tar snakes were wiggling under my feet. But I was in gradeschool or junior high. Loved it though!

I saw that you where thinking of moving to Gilbert, thats where I live! Although I am an 'ol married women with kids I could answer any question you have about Gilbert!

      Hey there, have you been tested for allergies? You may not only have celiac disease but be allergic. I have celiac disease and am allergic to Barley, wheat and rye.
