Is Celiac Tested For In...

OK, well I finally got a copy of the bloodwork that was done on me, and they abbreviate everything, so I'm not sure if they tested for Celiac or not. These are the things tests they did: 1) "CBC With Differential/Platelet," 2) "Comp. Metabolic Panel (14)," 3) Lipid Panel, and 4) "TSH."

My urine was also tested, and I was tested for: "GLU, BIL, KET, SG, BLO, pH, PRO, URO, and NIT."

I'm thinking that if indeed Celiac was tested for, it was in the "Comp. Metabolic Panel (14)," but they said that my blood was normal, so that might be good news...

Based on what you wrote, it does not appear that you had any tests for Celiac run.

They would look something like (may be some or all, depending on what any doctor runs).

Anti-gliadin antibodies (AGA) IgA

Anti-gliadin antibodies (AGA) IgG

Anti-endomysial antibodies (EMA) - IgA

Anti-tissue transglutaminase antibodies (tTG) - IgA

Total IgA level

The Lindt (Lindor) dairy-free oat milk truffles are definitely gluten-free, and (last time I checked) so are the white chocolate truffles and the mint chocolate truffles.

I've used magnesium taurinate and magnesium taurate vitamins.  Didn't notice much of a difference when I used them.

More great tips, and a good excuse to shop at M&S and also buy more iced buns!   I wish we had an ASDA near us, as the few times we've been to one their gluten-free pasta range seemed very reasonably priced compared to other shops.  Thanks so much, @Russ H.
