Does anyone know of any, or where I could find out which ones are safe? I use a lot because my lips are dry.

Thanks!

All of Burts Bees are gluten free.

all burts bees lip balms are gluten free... the original is my favorite with the peppermint... mmm :)

also, i called wyeth last year regarding chap stick, and all of their varieties are gluten free. i use carmex at home too for the winter when my lips get very chapped... they have only a few very plain ingredients, however i did not call to confirm.

The very best out there IMO is carmex. It comes in pots and tubes and you can get it at Target or Walmart.

The Chap Stick "classic" kind are gluten free.

I second Carmex. From their Open Original Shared Link:

Does Carmex contain gluten? Nope, not even a speck. There is no gluten in any of our ingredients. We do not use flour in our manufacturing process, so there's no chance of any trace of it on our conveyor belts.

The things= about carmex is that it is not hard and waxy when you put it on and it stays on a lot longer. It is more like a balm, but it has the perfect consistency and it sticks.

It also has a nice vanilla-menthol kind of smell to it. I use it instead of lipgloss and I have used it for years. There is nothing else that even comes close IMO.

HOORAY FOR CARMEX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy to find out that my all-time favorite lip balm was gluten free all along!!! What good news!

So I third the motion for Carmex. :D

They may want to also eliminate other possible causes for your symptoms/issues and are doing additional tests.  Here is info about blood tests for celiac disease--if positive an endoscopy where biopsies of your intestinal villi are taken to confirm is the typical follow up.

In the Europe the new protocol for making a celiac disease diagnosis in children is if their tTg-IgA (tissue transglutaminase IgA) levels are 10 times or above the positive level for celiac disease--and you are above that level. According to the latest research, if the blood test results are at certain high levels that range between 5-10 times the reference range for a positive celiac disease diagnosis, it may not be necessary to confirm the results using an endoscopy/biopsy: Blood Test Alone Can Diagnose Celiac Disease in Most Children and Adults TGA-IgA at or Above Five Times Normal Limit in Kids Indicates Celiac Disease in Nearly All Cases No More Biopsies to Diagnose Celiac Disease in Children! May I ask why you've had so many past tTg-IgA tests done, and many of them seem to have been done 3 times during short time intervals?

@JettaGirl, "Coeliac" is the British spelling of "celiac". Same disease.

This may sound ridiculous but is this supposed to say Celiacs? I looked up Coeliacs because you never know, there’s a lot of diseases related to a disease that they come up with similar names for. It’s probably meant to say Celiacs but I just wanted to confirm.

I was told it was to see how much damage has been caused. But just told CT with contrast not any other name for it.
