Celiac Without Gastro Symptoms?

Hi,

I am awaiting results of blood tests for celiac, and wondering how common is it for someone to have celiac without any of the typical gastro symptoms.

I have thyroid issues, anemia issues, depression, memory and brain fog issues, fatigue, joint and muscle pain (etc. long list). However, do NOT have diarrhea, gas, bloating, stomach pain, digestive problems.

Anyone here have (or know someone who has) celiac without these types of gastro symptoms?

I have essentially no gastro problems with gluten, but pretty much everything else you've listed. I think different people react differently.

I think this should answer your question. Here is a quote from an article my Aunt sent me:

People diagnosed with celiac disease are more likely to have either no symptoms or symptoms that are atypical of the classic symptoms of diarrhea, weight loss, and malabsorption. In adults, some of the more common presenting symptoms are constipation, acid-reflux-type conditions, anemia, bone disease, or neurological symptoms.

The Lindt (Lindor) dairy-free oat milk truffles are definitely gluten-free, and (last time I checked) so are the white chocolate truffles and the mint chocolate truffles.

I've used magnesium taurinate and magnesium taurate vitamins.  Didn't notice much of a difference when I used them.

More great tips, and a good excuse to shop at M&S and also buy more iced buns!   I wish we had an ASDA near us, as the few times we've been to one their gluten-free pasta range seemed very reasonably priced compared to other shops.  Thanks so much, @Russ H.
