Grocery Outlet

We have a Grocery Outlet near us (in the Seattle area) and I happened to be there yesterday while the owner was unpacking a huge pile of Glutino cookies and pretzels. There were several varieties of cookies and he said he had more in the back. If you live close to a Grocery Outlet go check it out! (I think they also have another name in other states - they have big rainbows on their signs.) I got packs of sandwich cookies that sell for $3.99 at Fred Meyer for 3/$1. Everything else was really cheap too.

Woohoo! Score! :D

I've noticed some of the Shoppers Drug Marts here in Calgary are also starting to sell quite a few Glutino products. I even hit one sale where their cookies were on for $2.50 a box.

Nice to see they are marketing some more mainstream places.

The gluten-free Greener Newbie

The Grocery Outlet here in Olympia also had the Glutino cookies for 3/$1, and Glutino pretzels for 2/$1! They've been selling Mi-del "oreos" for a few months now, too. I really hope they start carrying gluten-free items regularly. Since it's a discount store, the stock is always so variable...I hope if we let the managers know how many people *really* appreciate and need affordable gluten-free items, it might help these discount stores to keep carrying them.

I have one nearby - I'll definitely check it out tomorrow!

Many years ago yes, after eating and going to bed, apparently my esophagus filled with food that my body rejected, the esophagus would lay against the Heart sack (pericardium?) and the heart would respond by becoming arrhythmic. That went away with the strict diet.

I was commenting on the report saying it did not mention migraines! Yes it does last paragraph says have not seen any evidence that Celiac cause migraines! I thought this was about truth?

It has been known for some years that celiacs suffer from migraines at a higher rate than the general populatation. It is an established symptom.

If black seed oil is working for his Afib, stick to it, but if not, I can say that ablation therapy is no big deal--my mother was out of the procedure in about 1 hour and went home that evening, and had zero negative effects from the treatment. PS - I would recommend that your husband get an Apple watch to monitor his Afib--there is an app and it will take readings 24/7 and give reports on how much of the time he's in it. Actual data like this should be what should guide his treatment.
