Candida Infection

I self diagnose myself as being gluten intolerance, though I also suspect that I may have candida ( yeast intolerance?) and thyroid problems... and in conclusion also malnutriution. In time I suspect I should have a doctors visit soon, and will give awareness of my self diagnose and suspects. I think it may be likely if I get my thyroid and candida test done, and it shows that there is a health problem I may get treatments for both and possible other test done.

Since I would like a accurate test of whether I have a candida problem or not, I have only elimanted yeast from my diet. Though I did not go on a complete candida diet, so if I were to get a candida test done would the results likely come back accurate? So far since eliminated yeast other health problems seem to have been making improvements. I also was wondering, as being gluton intolerance I'am not to eat gluton again... but would I be allowed to tolerate yeast or candida ( since it is naturally within one) again? I suspect I will.

Hi there,

I suspect a similar diagnosis for myself aswell. Asfar as i know it is incredibly dificult to get yeast/candida sorted by just removing yeast so the results should show if there is a problem with it. Some people have a yeast allergy which would be improved by just removing yeast alone i guess.

Do you live in the UK? Im desperately looking for a doctor in the uk that will test for candida...please let me know if you find one!

Good luck with it all,

Heidi

I'm not in Europe, I'm in Lansing, Michigan... and the health system here is one of the worst. I'm having a hard time myself going to the doctors. There are tons of doctors around here that can diagnose my candida and other health problems and none are doing it.... right now I can't even get a appointment. I'm 17 years old, and knowing my oppurtunity of leaving the city for college ( after my senior year coming up), I'm basically taking advantage of it. I'm just really rage, and will feel relief once I leave this city that has neglected my health.

I know I got off topic, but have been dealing with my health problem for too long and little steps are being done.

Thanks for the luck,

You should set a appointment and let them know about your candida, since it may have lead to tons of other health problems...

The Lindt (Lindor) dairy-free oat milk truffles are definitely gluten-free, and (last time I checked) so are the white chocolate truffles and the mint chocolate truffles.

I've used magnesium taurinate and magnesium taurate vitamins.  Didn't notice much of a difference when I used them.

More great tips, and a good excuse to shop at M&S and also buy more iced buns!   I wish we had an ASDA near us, as the few times we've been to one their gluten-free pasta range seemed very reasonably priced compared to other shops.  Thanks so much, @Russ H.
