I was loosing some but since i quit cold turkey it seems to be filling in a bit. I am also using an anti DHT shampoo

I lost a decent amount before--it didn't re-grow much but I did stop losing once I was gluten-free for a while.

Luckily I had thick hair to begin with.....on the plus side, my hair is much shinier and healthy looking. :D

Is hair loss associated with celiacs? I have been losing a lot of hair over the past few years and just chalked it up to my hypothyroid. Though I would have stopped "shedding" since I'm on thyroid supplementation, but I haven't.

I lost hair for years. Some of it seemed to be related to trauma and antibiotics and other baad medications, but I just kept losing it until I kicked the gluten out. Now my hair is much fuller (no more bare patches at the front that I keep having to bring more hair forward to cover, and as Patti noted, it is much shinier and healthier. I had forgotten I used to have shiny hair :)

Your response on this matter is what I expect. You’ve had a similar episode years ago, but this one is lasting longer!

I'd like to clarify: Is the pain you describe in the area just below your chest constant, or does it only appear when you start moving?

Shingles is dormant and related to chicken pox when one has had in the past.Shingles comes out when stress is heightened.I had my 3rd Shingles in 2023.

Thank you for the links to the articles.  Interesting reading. I'll be telling my brother in law because he has a lot of pain
