It looks like they may be planning to offer gluten-free sandwiches if the response is good. :D

Please go vote! I've eaten there before and it's good.

I voted & left a comment about CC. I used to go there & they barely have the space to make all the yummy glutinous stuff they serve. I have a real concern that they will just have gluten-free bread in with all the other selections. We all know places that think all they have to do is take the burgers off the bun or the croutons out of the salads to be gluten-free.

I went and voted! I had some trouble finding the survey, it is on their Deli Blog linked at the bottom of their main page.

I really hope they do offer this option, although the worst episode of glutening for me happened at Jason's Deli. I order a salad with gluten free italian dressing, they had mixed their fat free(gluten-fulled) and regular up in the back and I was HORRIBLE and over a salad... The manager at that location was not nice or considerate of allergies. They even tried to serve me the pulled pork potato when only the pulled beef was gluten free another time. Hopefully if they do offer the sandwiches they train their managers and employees about it!

Thanks for the information!

I'm surprised that no one has followed up on this - I found out about all of this a few days ago and Jason's Deli HAS implemented gluten-free bread into their menu. And what brand did they go with? That's right...UDI'S!! Obviously enough people voiced their love for Udi's and Jason's Deli listened.

As for my experience? The cashier was very knowledgeable. They have a separate laminated sheet that contains all of their gluten-free menu items, and a separate section showing what all can go on a sandwich that is safe. Once I ordered, the guy on the line ripped off a huge piece of parchment paper to cover the line just for my sandwich and kept it totally separate. They obviously DO understand the concept of CC and take it seriously.

All in all, it was amazing being able to eat a thick sandwich on Udi's bread without having to make it myself (which I know sounds lazy, but it's true of all of us as some point or another). I love that they are further promoting a solid gluten-free manufacturer and getting solid publicity for Udi's. I will definitely be going back!

We have tried Jason's Deli twice..once in Nashville, TN and once in Arizona and both times we were very disapointed. The staff did not take our concerns about CC seriously. I think it depends on the staff and how they are trained at each location rather you will have a negative or positive experience. My daugther and I were both sick with our usual gluten reaction at both locations and have not been back since. I am always excitied when resturants are trying to offer gluten-free selections, and thankful for it, but employees need to be trained properly.

Did you email the company? They might want to know. They do ask for peoples opinions.

I tried the Jasons deli in Nashville.. They have to tell you it is not a gluten free facility so the risk of cross contmaination is there.

I asked to talk to the manager, and asked for my sandwich to be made in the back with totally fresh ingridents. .. this is the key is to ask for the manager new gloves and it to be prepared in the back. Everything on the normal line is full of crumbs. I am very sensitive and ate here successfully, but talkin to the manager is key. The employees are NOT trained in gluten free dinning!

I think I found a huge culprit for severe reactions to create worsening of my c symptoms. Do people with celiac have sensitivity and /or have opposite reaction to certain medications Where can I find a list ?  I'm new here I'm.wondering why I am getting worse when I take certain medicine...the burning feet.  Rebound muscle pain so intense  How many people get opposite effects or have a horrible attack after these meds

Does anyone know if that includes scrambled eggs and healthy smart butter (,gluten free) I add a very tiny amount of margarine less than a teaspoon.  I did no't have any bread    It just seems like no matter what I eat my stomach and nerves over fire and here comes a host of horrible symptoms. My lower abdomen feels horrible, my right leg thigh muscle.. very odd. Jaw pain. Burning feet , joint pain , you name it  The anxiety just creeps up into brain fog. I don't think I could explain this to anyone who is unfamiliar.  Also,  I most likely will not remember posting this until I check it.  This is highly unusual for me because I have an excellent memory.  One weekend before I knew anything about celiac I lost an entire weekend from severe brain fog, confusion, pain, etc.  I honestly thought I was losing my mind. When I think back I recall eating a lot of PBJ sandwiches and turkey sandwiches.  Once again did not know about gluten.  I was just too sick to cook. Do people fast during attacks ?? It seems horrible to keep going through this. I hope I'm not causing my own problems... I wonder if I should fast because I'm not eating gluten .  Chicken ,  scrambled eggs no milk , canned carrots,  gluten free low sugar low fat Greek yogurt which I already posted about 😞 Any suggestions I am open... I am bedridden when this happens to me.  Thank you Celiac community. 🙏🏻❤️

Yeah, that sounds super familiar. When inflammation levels are high — especially at the start of changing your diet — the body often develops a fructose and lactose intolerance. Unfortunately, the only thing that really helps is cutting out anything that isn’t lactose-free or that contains sugar. So basically, stick to meat, veggies, fish…

I have trouble with nausea. It often starts when I’m anxious about something (home repairs, sick dog) but continues long after the home is repaired or the dog is healthy again. When it happens I eat less and lose weight.  My gastroenterologist suggested ginger or peppermint tea. I don’t know if that will work or not because I haven't had the problem since she suggested it.

Hello  I'm not sure what to think . Seems no matter what I do I get sick. I had some yogurt with only 2 grams of sugar and is labeled gluten free ...the strawberry version seemed to really set me off My jaw is burning as well as my stomach and my feet.  Horrible pain..plus acid reflux and nausea... sensitivity to touch pain. ..yikes !! I don't know if it's from the lactose in the yogurt or if I'm getting an ulcer  This condition can make you question yourself quite a bit.  Then if you are not sure the anxiety comes 😞 Does any of these symptoms sound familiar to anyone? The neuropathy is quite intense.  What do you eat or drink after this happens  Open to suggestions  Thank you
