Getting Better But Still Have Bathroom Issues

im starting to feel a bit better now that I watch what i eat and take all the necessary supplements for GI support, but i still cant seem to go to the bathroom the way I used to. I always need to be at home or in a hotel and by myself and need to just relax at my comp in the morning after i wake up for an hr or 2. If i am in a rush, have an early appt or whatever I wont go all day and usually get horribly bloated by noon. years ago i would be able to jump out of bed, shower & go to work and go to the bathroom like clockwork. this doesnt happen anymore..any idea why? I have been fairly regular lately with the help of some magnesium and yesterday i got up at 5 and had to work a tradeshow all day long & then get on a plane...didnt go until this morning.

I have struggled with constipation problems for years. I find magnesiom helps also.

Upon getting up drink a glass of hot plain water. Some herbs are OK to add but not tea or coffee. I often will use 1/2 or 1 capsule of Cascara sangrada. Try to drink 3 to 5 glasses of water a day.

Add fiber to each meal - I'm using gluten-free oat bran and have used flax seed meal in the past.

I eat lots of prunes and prune juice, often I put about 6 prunes in my meals.

Turmeric and other anti-inflamatory herbs can help relax constricted areas in the gut. Also marshmallow root can improve digestion.

You might cutting down on the fat and oils you are eating. I do better using animal fats - just the amount in the meat or poultry - than vegetable oils.

I'm using Kreger's Candida Formula #2 and Neem leaf capsules for Candida and am improving.

thanks- u should back off on the cascara..its a strong stimulant laxative & can create bowel dependency. I use a product called cleansemore by renew life..one pill per week seems to keep my system in balance.

again my issue isnt necessarily going, its going when i dont have the time to sit around in the morning & wait

i vaguely think there are some yoga poses that can move things along. maybe check around to see if you can find a 5 or 10 minute routine that helps?

      He is not just a psychiatrist.  He is also a neuroscientist.  And yes, I have already read those studies.   I agree with benfotiamine.  This is short term while glutened/inflammation occurs.  As I had already mentioned, these symptoms no longer exist when this phase passes.  And yes, I know that celiac is a disease of malnutrition.  We are working with a naturopath.

      Thanks for your response.  Everything you mentioned he is and has been doing.  Tobacco is not the same as nicotine.  Nicotine, in the form of a patch, does not cause gastrointestinal irritation.  Smoking does. He is not smoking.  Please do your research before stating false information. Dr. Paul Newhouse has been doing research on nicotine the last 40 years at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

      Im so frustrated and still getting the run around trying to reprove my celiac disease which my past primary ignored for 25 years.I understand that theres a ray of medical that doctors are limited too but not listening and telling the patient ( me) that im not as sensitive as I think and NOT celiac!Correction Mr white coat its not what I think but for cause and affect and past test that are not sticking in my medical records.I get sick violently with foods consumed, not eating the foods will show Im fabulous. After many blood draws and going through doctors I have the HLA- DQ2 positive which I read in a study that Iran conducted that the severity in celiac is in that gene.Im glutenfree and dealing with related issues which core issue of celiac isn't addressed. My skin, right eye, left leg diagestive issues affected. I have high blood pressure because im in pain.Im waisting my time on trying to reprove that Im celiac which is not a disease I want, but unfortunately have.It  has taken over my life personally and professionally. How do I stop getting medically gaslight and get the help needed to bounce back if I ever do bounce back to normal? I thought I was in good care with " celiac specialist " but in her eyes Im good.Im NOT.Sibo positive, IBS, Chronic Fatigue just to name a few and its all related to what I like to call a ghost disease ( celiac) since doctors don't seem to take it seriously.

      @Martha Mitchell, your reaction to the lens implant with gluten sounds like it could be an allergic reaction rather than a celiac reaction. It is possible for a celiac to be also allergic to gluten as it is a protein component in wheat, barley and rye.
