If you're near Downtown Disney, Rainforest Cafe makes a yummy gluten-free cheeseburger. Just talk to the manager first to be safe.

It was the first restaurant meal I had had in 4 years!

Are you in Spain? Have you been to Barcelona? If so, have you got any suggestions for restaurants there? We will be there in September.

:)

I usually eat from the markets, I can't afford to do restaurant meals. I'll stop at the market, pick up meat and veggies (and previously cheese, but I've since decided that dairy is a bad idea), and snack on my way to wherever I'm headed that day. I've found that grocery stores always have potato chips and the ingredients are written in several languages. And it's fun to shop in foreign stores.....you never know what you'll find.

A couple sturdy fruits in your pack, some chips, and you should be fine for hours. I'll shop on the way back to the hostel or hotel and cook in the kitchen, or using the hotpot I always buy when I travel. On the rare occasion when I do go out, I've never had a problem explaining what I want to eat. Wheat just isn't as prevalent in all food stuffs, so if it looks like it should be gluten free, it probably is.

Thank you that’s really helpful, hopeful won’t have to have a biopsy.

That means the normal range (i.e. not celiac disease) would be a result less than 14.99.  Your result is WAY above that. Some gastroenterologists would diagnose that as celiac disease even without a confirming biopsy because it is more than ten times the top of the normal range.

Hi everyone. Back in 2022 I had blood work drawn for iga ext gliadin. Since then I’ve developed worse stomach issues and all other health issues. My doctor just said cut out gluten. He did no further testing. Please see my test results attached. I just need some direction cause I feel so ill and the stomach pain is becoming worse. Can this test show indications for other gastrointestinal diseases?

Thank you. These were the results TTG ABS NUMERICAL: > 250.0 U/mL [< 14.99]  Really don’t understand the results!

Clearly from what you've said the info on Dailymed is much more up to date than the other site, which hasn't been updated since 2017. The fact that some companies might be repackaging drugs does not mean the info on the ingredients is not correct.
