I know people were talking in one forum about a book that is small enough to fit in their purse...is updated for 2010...and could be found online. Anyone have any idea what the name of it was? A couple of my co-workers also just learned they are gluten-free so we are trying to compile all of the info we are learning!

I don't know about one small enough to fit in your purse (or actually I guess that depends on the size of the purse-lol) but try Triumph. I don't think it is legal to post the link but google "triumph Dining guide" and it should point you to the right place. They also have a grocery guide and handy cards to take to restaurants.

They are great for the new learners and for family members who shop for us. But, not to depend on after a years time. Accuracy may be compromised, due to the rapid ingredient change among products.

Gluten Free grocery Shopping Guide by matison & Matison is a great purse sized book and I always have it with me. Like everything else though it was accurate at the time of publication so you still need to check ingredients but it is a great starting point.

I agree, it was very helpful for me as a new Celiac. They do post updates with changes on their web site. So check that every once and awhile.
