What Are The Best Deals From Amazon?

I shop a lot from Amazon -- I have a Prime account, which means that I get free two-day shipping if a product is sold by Amazon -- and I wondered what the best deals were? I saw that they sell twelve packs of the Blue Diamond Nut Thins for what works out to be about $2.30 a box. I got the crackers for $2 a box the other day at Whole Foods, but that was a big sale, and they're normally more than that. Anything else?

It really depends on how much of a product you can use. I buy the econo bags of gluten-free corn flakes, the multi grain Glutino crackers, pretzels when on sale. Oh the rice krispies too...Lame Advertisement seeds as well. there is a ton of stuff gluten-free ... but your right you do need to price shop...

Okay I just went back & read the word AMAZON --- I thought we were not allowed to use that name?

I buy my Tinkyada pasta and my Pamela's bread and/or pancake/baking mix from Amazon... scheduling them both at the same time to take advantage of free shipping. I live in west-by-god nowhere and Tinkyada pasta and individual packages of Pamela's are really expensive... in the TWO stores where I can find one or the other!

The local health food store offered to buy Pamela's bread mix to stock and I had to tell the guy that I could get it cheaper from Amazon, so he shouldn't bother.

I just bought cases of Kind bars. It worked out to $1.25 a bar (and I LOVE them) I saw their Food Should Taste Good chips were something like $.90 a bag, but I didn't order them as they were the olive, which I can't stand. My last purchase as pasta...ratidore in bulk, and Ancient Harvest Quinoa and Corn spagetti by the case. :P

Thanks for the suggestions!

I get (in bulk)

Tinkyada Pasta

Pamelas Pancake and Baking Mix

Pamelas Bread Mix

Pamelas mini Chocolate cookies

Glutino (cheese) crackers

Clif twisted fruit sticks (or something like that)

Chocolate Chex Cereal

I get most of those through the Subscribe and Save program. You get an extra 15% off and free shipping (even if it's less than $25) for placing a standing order. Don't worry about the standing order part. You can cancel after the first shipment if you want. You can have a 1, 2, 3, or 6 month interval. If you need to order early, you go ahead and tell them to ship early. If you need to delay, you can delay. They send an email right before they process the order so that if you need to delay or cancel it, you can. The only item above that I didn't really save good money on was the Clif twisted fruit things. I did save a little on the "regular" price but I could ocassionaly get it cheaper on sale but the problem was the store never had the flavor my daughter liked.

If I remember correctly, the Glutino pretzels were a good deal (in bulk) but we don't go through them fast enough to justify having 12 bags of them sitting around.

I LOVE the subscribe and save. And right now they have a promo from General Mills going on that makes Chex and Betty Crocker mixes incredibly cheap! You do have to be careful with making sure you'll eat what you order. We had to throw away a bunch of stuff that expired because I went a little crazy. So much for that savings!

The Kind bars and Lara bars are really good values (at least compared to our prices). As are Stretch Island Fruit Leathers, gluten-free cereals, bread mixes, Pamela's chocolate chunk cookies, Quinoa pasta, oh for us pretty much anything is cheaper than our local prices! It's just a matter of only buying stuff you can eat the bulk amount of.

No, Life Extension contains Benfotiamine and Thiamine Hydrochloride. Objective Nutrients Thiamax contains TTFD.     I take both of these and a B Complex.

what Benfotiamine should I take as Life Extension contains both Ben and TTFD.
    • knitty kitty
I take both Benfotiamine and TTFD.   You might want to start with the Benfotiamine for a few days and then add in the TTFD.   You can look for NeuroMag (Magnesium Threonate).  A magnesium glycinate is fine, too.  Doctor's Best is a good brand.  Don't take more than 300mg total per day of magnesium or it may have a laxative effect.   Be sure to take the B Complex.  The Benfotiamine and TTFD will need the other B vitamins.

Life Extension Benfotiamine with Thiamine has 100MG of Ben and 25 of Thia..... Do you think this is the one I should take or Objective Nutrients Thiamax (TTFD) which has 100MG Thiamine. How much magnesium should I look for? I take the womens 50+ multivitamin since consumerlabs stated and tested that it has the right amount of vitamins and not too much for men and doesn't have BHT which has shown to cause liver cancer in animals. I was never big with multivitamins as well as doctors I just read when I was first going gluten free to take a multi but I think I will stop them and work on trying the super B Thia and Ben, Mag.

Hi all I’ve been celiac for 4 years now, I’ve done pretty well to avoid it thus far. Last night I took the wrong pizza out of the freezer and ate the whole lot!! The non gluten and gluten pizza boxes are both very similar.   2 hours later I was throwing up violently on my hands and knees over the loo.  .horrendous stomach pains,  My hair was wet from sweat every part of my body was wet. What an awful experience, just had a bad headache today  fortunately.    Is their any products/pills anyone takes if they have realised they have just been glutened to make the symptoms a little less worse.  thanks
