TTG IgA 0.30 U/ml: further tests?
Thanks everyone. I've decided to do a gluten challenge (4 slices of bread a day for 3 months) and then do a full gluten panel of all the tests that can be done, just to rule it in or out for sure. I think otherwise psychologically it will keep bothering me -

Thanks Scott. Those articles are really interesting. I’m cutting out gluten for 6 weeks but honestly I’m not sure I even want to reintroduce it! I ate at a restaurant for the first time on Wednesday and then Thursday was really uncomfortable and had a few trips to the loo.. wonder if there was some cross contamination 🤷♀️ if that’s how my body reacts af...- celiac

@Theresa C, I was in Italy last year for a family wedding. There were several Coeliac's on the guest list including myself. Never had any issues both days and the second day was a pizza party. TTG IgA 0.30 U/ml: further tests?
Reference range 0.00 to 10.00 means that within that range is normal, so not celiac. There are other antibodies that can be present in celiac disease and they don’t all have to be positive to have celiac. I’m sure someone else will post a link to an article describing them! Plus, if you are IgA deficient the celiac IgA tests won’t be accurate. -
