Low Total Salivary And Low Antigliaden What Does It Mean?

I'm new to all of this, but does anyone know what it means if a persons total salivary Iga is <5 and the Antigliaden is 4? One Dr. said to figure it out because the total was so low, you have to multiply the Iga by at least 5 to bring it up to low normal and then multiply the antigliaden by that same number which would make it 20. Another Dr. said the antigliaden was in the normal range. I would love any insight anyone might have. Thanks!!

Two strikes. Maybe you can get a third wrong answer from another doctor. :lol: Low total means you simply can't interpret the anti-gliadin results at all. There is no magic correction factor. The test simply doesn't work right because there is too little IgA.

      Had my MRI today I didn't have to have the manitol with my allergy's , I just had a litre of water , they were great with my concerns , so let's see if anything comes of if will keep posted once I have results 👍

      Thank you ,it’s been a long road for me for having both now ,what upsets the most is that if they discovered that I also have cealiac earlier I would not have injested gluten if I was aware. Double whammy.
