I read this in an article and thought I would pass it along~

Bards Tale Beer (a company in New York) is now producing gluten free beer made from malted sorghum and roasted buckwheat. It's only available on the east coast right now, but hopefully it will be available to all of us soon. I miss beer so much and am glad to know that I might have more someday! Here's their website for those of you in the East: Open Original Shared Link

Actually, its beyond the E Coast now...I've got a case in my fridge now ! :P There are many here who are grateful for the Bards.... glad you've found it too!

It is great.

I had it in Ohio when I was there in May-June.

They are selling it as West as Iowa/Minnesota.

I talked to the CEO of the company and he said they are "actively looking" for a west coast brewery. It should be out here by Nov-Dec 2005.

Cross your fingers!

this is unrelated, but when I was in the library last night looking for a book on tape, I saw a title that made me laugh:

A Fatal Glass of Beer

Katerific Explorer

I bought Bard's gluten-free beer at HyVee in Omaha, Nebraska. Looks like it is making its way across the country! :D

I ordered it online from a place called russells. I didn't like it that much and am trying to give four bottles of it away. Its got a head on it that won't quit too, took me ten minutes to pour it in a glass. I think "beer people" will like it, but its a little too bitter for me.

I got my rum and midori and my apple cider. I'm good :)

The Lindt (Lindor) dairy-free oat milk truffles are definitely gluten-free, and (last time I checked) so are the white chocolate truffles and the mint chocolate truffles.

I've used magnesium taurinate and magnesium taurate vitamins.  Didn't notice much of a difference when I used them.

More great tips, and a good excuse to shop at M&S and also buy more iced buns!   I wish we had an ASDA near us, as the few times we've been to one their gluten-free pasta range seemed very reasonably priced compared to other shops.  Thanks so much, @Russ H.
