Forum Doesn't Work With Chrome

Hi - this is more of a report than a request for help. I had just submitted a note to the site letting them know I haven't been able to log into the forums for weeks now. Right after sending it, I wondered if the problem was my browser.

Lo & behold... I opened up the long-abandoned Internet Explorer & the forums are working FAST and I was able to log in finally.

In Chrome the forums are slow, and login (for me, anyway) was impossible. The operation "timed out" every time. I'm not sure if Chrome had an update, or if the forums did, or what - because Chrome worked fine until recently.

I'm adding the topic for future reference, and for the staff to look into, if they choose to do so. For now I'll just open up IE when I'm visiting this site. Thanks!

I don't know....I use Chrome every day, and I have no problems at this forum.

Sounds like you could be missing an update or two???

I use Chome as my browser of choice, and have not had any problems.

Try deleting your cache and browsing history in Chrome...and be sure you are using their latest version.

Take care,

Scott

Korwyn Explorer

Also try disabling any Chrome extensions. I use chrome on four different operating systems (Win 7, Win7 64 bit, XP, and Linux) on five different computers with the forums with no problem.

*Edited to insert four words that got lost on the way from my brain to my fingers. :)

Welcome, @Melvin McDowell! Just wanted you to know you are replying to a post that was made 21 years ago. It is unlikely that person is still monitoring this thread, especially since they are a "guest" poster and not registered as a member.

My feeling is that histamine intolerance/MCAS is doesn't get enough press in the medical world and is greatly underdiagnosed.

I just saw in Trent’s response something about the vitamins. Good to know.

Have you heard anything about being celiac and pills, vitamins not absorbing into your system?  I hope that makes sense. Basically, you don’t get the full effect. There is something that helps the absorption, like Vit C?? Thanks for all of your help.

Updating to note that it has been over a month since I initially wrote Prana and they haven't provided a response to my question about what testing limits (ppm) they use now. I've sent them a couple reminder emails but nothing. Booo.
