Malabsorption Issues

I have been glutened 4 times since Thanksgiving. Once at a restaurant and the other times were cross contamination mistakes. The one from the restaurant really threw me off track and made me really sick. I have not fully recovered from that and with the 3 additional mistakes, it's been rough.

I have been having malabsorption problems which I know is what celiac is all about but I am just wondering how long this will go on and what if anything I can do to speed it up. I am having either orange oily floating D or I will have C with mucus or I feel like I have to go and have gas and mucus. Before the restaurant glutening, I was fine.

Any ideas? I'm getting really annoyed with it all!!

with continuous glutening over the past 2 months, you're going to continue to have problems unfortunately. The only thing you can do is be more vigilant, and wait for healing. :(

Digestive enzymes may help. When I was recovering from my 8 month malabsorption in 2010 (come to find out it was from gluten free oat cross contamination) I took prescription creon and it helped. I took it for three months along with a strict diet. I only need it now when I have a bad glutening.
