Wow, what a good question. My husband is gluten free & I can't eat dairy. Hopefully there are more people in the same situation as us.

Leftovers! That's mostly what I do, but it varies.

Usually, the leftovers I take are soup, stir-fry, stew, chili, or casseroles.

Fresh things I've made include:

tuna tacos

pb&j sandwhich

rice cakes w/ peanut butter

bean salads

hummus

shrimp salad

One of those items is usually accompanied by:

raw veggies

fresh fruit

nuts

Hey, how old are you? :) My suggestions would vary based on what your resources are. If you have access to a microwave, a whole host of options are available--heating up leftovers, mac and cheese, the Mrs. Leepers meals are awesome and if you make it in the morning or the night before, you just need to bring it in a microwavable container and heat up. They have chicken alfredo, beef lasagna, etc. Also Amy's meals--some are gluten-free, some aren't, though, so be careful. Without access to a microwave your options are pretty limited--sandwiches, fruit, yogurt, etc., but if that's all you have to work with, I'm sure I'll be able to come up with a lot more. :huh:

Well, when I "go out" for lunch it means I go to the grocery store nearest to work, grab some fruit, some gluten-free sliced chicken, some Lays Stax, some cheese, maybe a Snickers bar and a diet Coke. Then I sit and eat it in the car.

Yep, that is how I "eat lunch out."

Otherwise, leftovers.

I'm living off of Amy's rice bowls right now. Those and the enchilada bowl. I have a mini-fridge and a microwave at work though. The bowls don't have to be in a freezer for those four or five hours before I nuke em, the mini-fridge works fine. Of course, if this is what you're getting sick of, ignore me.

      I do not know this, but since they are labelled gluten-free, and are not really a product that could easily be contaminated when making them (there would be not flour in the air of such a facility, for example), I don't really see contamination as something to be concerned about for this type of product.

      Thanks @Scott Adams. Do you know if Kirkland Signature supplements share facility and production lines with other products containing gluten?  I'm worried that I'll react to this brand just like I did with other gluten-free labelled supplement brands.

      This is a really common area of confusion. Most natural cheeses (cheddar, Swiss, mozzarella, Parmesan, brie, camembert, and most blue cheeses) are inherently gluten-free, and you’re right that the molds used today are typically grown on gluten-free media. The bigger risks tend to come from processed cheeses: shredded cheese (anti-caking agents), cheese spreads, beer-washed rinds, smoke-flavored cheeses, and anything with added seasonings or “natural flavors,” where cross-contact can happen. As for yeast, you’re also correct — yeast itself is gluten-free. The issue is the source: brewer’s yeast and yeast extracts can be derived from barley unless labeled gluten-free, while baker’s yeast is generally safe. When in doubt, sticking with whole, unprocessed cheeses and products specifically labeled gluten-free is the safest approach, especially if you’re highly sensitive.
