all.

hello , I have been trying to be gluten free since May of this year, when had positive biopsy,

One of the things I love is the pearl tapioca> I know kraft has the minute tapioca, but that is not what I like. I have written to " reeses "hope using brand name is ok, 2x they dont respond , no phone numbers either . this is one company that sells here in upper NY , I have also seen the larger tapioca pearls in oriental stores but dont know about them either, before celiac disease just bought any brand and didnt worry , now sigh,

can there be gluten in them, dusting on lines so they dont stick, does anyone know ??

thank you any help will be appreciated,

rosie

We're using the Kraft quick cooking Minute Tapioca. Kraft is supposed to be conscientious about gluten.

This article has some detailed information on how to be 100% gluten-free, so it may be helpful (be sure to also read the comments section.):

Wheat flour is fortified with vitamins in the U.S. as a part of USDA policy. Gluten free facsimile products are not fortified. There is no government mandate for such. When you remove wheat flour by going gluten free, you may be removing a significant source of vitamins.
