ARCHIVED Anyone Have Problems With Corn Tortillas?
Yenni replied to Yenni's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
I guess what I was trying to ask is if anyone has problems with processed foods (in general) that aren't made in a Gluten free factory? I am gonna try some other corn Tortillas probably, but mostly I am gonna see if I can find stuff among the dedicated gluten free brands. For now the "grocery store stuff" will have to wait. (Is the Food for Life... -
ARCHIVED Anyone Have Problems With Corn Tortillas?
Yenni posted a topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
I have had some good times lately. I figured out I had been eating soy in my vitamin pills all summer and once I stopped..well I had some bad days and then it felt so good. Now I got sick again. I ate corn tortillas the other day. While it says they are gluten (and soy) free they aren't made in a dedicated factory. I seem to be sensetive enough to... -
ARCHIVED My Enterolab Results
Yenni replied to Kody's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
This is from EnteroLabs page. So the number doesn't matter. You have a reaction. It is a pass or fail thing kinda. My numbers were low (Casein and Gluten) and I have been very sick the last 4 -
Nope, can't go to the Native one. Thanks for the ideas though.

So do you live in Anchorage? I haven't heard that commercial on the Radio. I wonder if a place for kids would take an adult. (I am 32.) The place I go to now seem to have no interest at all. After 9 different doctors over the years one gets tired of seeing another one that doesn't have a clue. Difficult with doctors..

I have stayed away from carbs the last two days. Seems cutting out the rice (white) helped some. I tried some enzyme pills but they made me really naseau. -

I got D about 4½ years ago too. To tell you the truth I think I actually had D before Heart Burn. I used to go many times a day. It actually got better, but not good, and the heart burn just got nastier and nastier. I woke up every morning with sore throat, got soars in my throat. I used to swat the herat burn was so bad. I have tried every singel anti ... -

I don't have the crawling thing but I sure feel I have a BIG stomach. I got a stronger Xgas pill today. Seemed it helped a bit better. Didn't eat much carbs either. Maybe that helped too.. I am on Protonix (double dose already, the Prilosec was like sugar pills to me.). Not sure if that one makes any difference with the bloating. Helps taking... -

Thank you Carla, I need to hear this. I was burnt out 4 years ago. Stress at work and my stomach was starting to get really bad before it happened too. I have been tired for years it seems. How do you get well from Adrenal Fatigue? (getting off topic here a little- I'd love to hear more thoughts/ideas on EnteroLab) -
ARCHIVED So Much Gas..

I have been super hungry from time to time too. I even woke up at night having to eat, twice (during the night)! Dreamt of food. Now that is better..but if something goes away something else always goes in and takes its place. If I don't have naseau I have heartbrun and it I don't have those two I have bloating. I look 4 months pregnant almost (it feels... -

I went Gluten free in May. My heart burn changed a lot, but I cross contaminated myself LOTS I am sure. I still ate soy too (had a 9 on EnteroLab I believe I do not do well on it). Seems June was good for me..but now I am just as bad as I was this spring. I don't get it. It makes me wounder. I have had two blood tests that has been negative in the past... -
ARCHIVED Gluten Sensitivity Genes?
Yenni replied to chrissy's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
But even if you have any of the genes (both the non one and the celiac one) do they have to be active? I mean do you have celiac if you have the gene or can it be "sleeping" sort of speak? -
ARCHIVED So How Does "the World" Look Upon Enterolab?
Yenni replied to Yenni's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
So they even say it is a scam huh? I have to say it would have felt better if I would have gotten diagnosed through the "golden standard". For some reason my mind distrusts the EnteroLab stuff some with the way other doctors seem to not like it. I know there are a lot of bad doctors out there though. Also the fact that I seem to not get all that...
