  1. Wow, that sounds so good.
  2. I have endo and fibroids. I had a lap last February and will maybe have another this year. Some say endo is an autoimmune disease...so who knows.. I had a cyst last Christmas, but don't seem to have them regularly..
  3. That would be interesting to hear yes. I heard he had another seminar this last fall. Sorry I don't have an answer to your questions myself.
  4. ...well, so far so good and my heartburn seems a bit better.. Really weird how stuff like that can affect a celiac.
  5. I use Open Original Shared Link's lotion myself. Love their stuff.
  6. We just got life insurance now and it wasn't an issue at all. We got it through Lincoln Benefit Life (an allstate company).
  7. Hello everyone! I am pretty much following this already without knowing it. Except I can't do casein. I think I am going to look for that book..
  8. Wellness has a grain free food now. I just picked it up today (I mentioned it above). Has potatoes instead. We'll see how my dogs stomachs like it.
  9. I am off food hunting here. Thank you all for your replies!! (How I love this forum.)
  10. Spunky: Yeah, it sure can be tricky. I have been tempted to go the hamburger and rice way too, but I am too lazy to make the patty every day. And then I heard that they might need a more varied food sort of speak, but you mix it up a bit it sounds like so that is probably fine. I am definitely NOT going to feed my dogs any gluten (I am pretty sure...
  11. I completely agree with you that the cheap dog foods out there are bad. I don't mind paying some for good dog food, and we have always gotten quality stuff, but we now have two dogs so it can't be too spendy. Alaska seems to have less brands too, so shipping on top of things.. I was looking at the Thrive one that I listed and four 10 lb's bags with shipping...
  12. Looks like maybe Open Original Shared Link could be an option.. The Honest Kitchen has a dog food that is gluten free too; Open Original Shared Link. very spendy though I think. You add water to the food and it gives 4 times as much of it sorta.. Still.. (I am listing the ones I find here if anyone is interested.) Found some kind of dog...
  13. I have used Canidae for over a year now and I just looked at the label this evening on the two new bags we bough and realized they are so NOT gluten free any more. I have to find a new dog food!! Again. (
  14. We have been using Canidae for over a year now for our dog because if was gluten and soy free... I checked the label just for grins tonight and realized they completely changed it and has put both barley and oat in it! I have had issues this summer and maybe this is why. I am actually a bit mad about it. I guess mostly at myself for missing that they changed...
  15. I have used 2 different types of main stream nail polish removers and I am not sure, but the label looked like it had gluten...and another had soy. I feel my feet stink from the remover even if I scrub them hard after use, so I am being paranoid and want to find something safe. Does anyone know of a safe nail polish remover without soy and gluten? I miss...
  16. I second the Kirkman Lab's prenatal ones. Only ones I have done well on so far. I actually feel real good after starting to eat them. Much more energy. I think I needed them.
  17. Seems weird to take a can of pears that is unopened like that. I have heard them take stuff that doesn't make sense to me and leave things that seem more dangerous. I wonder how it would work out flying internationally? My family is in Sweden. So when you go on vacation, if you do, do you make sure to get a place with it's own kitchen? That...
  18. Than you!! Good information. Yes, it will be a bit higher price but much better than paying $150 every month (or more). I will print this out. Thanks again! So if you need antibiotics for example, do you ask the doctor to write the code AND write a letter every time or?
  19. Yes, they sure do not seem to care about the person, all about the money. I am so frustrated about it. My doctors office has called and faxed a letter, but nothing yet. Crazy and maddening. Is it going to be this hard every time?
  20. I have lost about 10 lbs since going gluten free (and all other intolerances I have). I gained weight as I got worse and worse before figuring it all out.
  21. I haven't dared to. The rest of the people do not rinse of their stuff and sometimes the stuff comes out with food stuck to it still. So no, I don't mix. I live with my husbands folks and there are many others going in and out of this house every week...I don't feel safe with this kitchen.
  22. I feel I grieve too. I almost feel hate when my husbands family all sit and feast on their brownies, pizzas, cheese..and regular food. Not their fault, but man it is hard to deal with. Some days it feels like a bottomless pit and others I feel more ok about it. I had a bad day today. People were eating Popcorn, the whole house was smelling from it. Husband...
  23. I am so mad at our insurance company (the pharmaceutical part-Caremark). I have been eating Protonix twice daily for 4 years now and there hasn't been a generic for it. So I generic just came out and our insurance company will not pay for brand if there is a generic. The generic has dairy in it and I can't do casein. I was given a birth control pill last...
  24. I read in one of the gluten books (Dangerous Grains I think..) that the vision can get affected and it was recommended to check the vision 1-2 /year while healing. I had blurred vision while being real sick and got glasses. I don't know if it would have happened anyways though.
