  1. Does anyone ever get a tender lower tummy, like in the lower abdominal area, after being glutened? Is it from gas or something? I wonder what i should take...or maybe i should wait a couple of days to see how long it lasts... ... This has happened many times before but i accidentally glutened myself on thursday so i'm pretty sure it's from that, however...
  2. I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND! Thursday at work i ate 1/2 of a twizzler (my first dumb mistake after starting this diet 5 months ago) and saturday (last night) i had a halloween party to attend at my husbands boss's house...i was totally mad because i was in the bathroom like 2-3 times and after only an hour decided i should just go home . I guess my reaction...
  3. Oh, this post was sooooo meant for me because ground turkey is the only ground meat i use. Now, where shall i begin: 1) Meatloaf: mix 2 paks ground turkey, 1/2 cup ketchup, 1 small diced onion, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and either 2 slices of ener-g bread diced or 3/4 cups gluten-free cornflakes. Shape into a meatloaf, cover with...
  4. At least she did it accidentally...i told my mom, "NO DAIRY and NO WHEAT, are you sure i can't cook the dinner?"...and this was her reply as i started in on a helping of her mash potatoes, "it was only a little butter"...so at least your mom did it accidentally. I will say that dinner experience left me to realize that others are absolutely right when they...
  5. I always make gluten-free/df rice krispy treats. I use the recipe on the back of the kraft mini marshmallows, along with gluten-free rice krispies and earth balance buttery spread (soy butter)...Mmmm they are awesome!!

  10. Yep, as soon as my dr. put me on L-Glutamine that's when the weird floating stuff and gross mucus stuff started going away
  11. Yep, my feet too
  12. Yes, the yoga stretching helps me alot. Heartburn was always my major symptom too before the watery "d" came on really strong one year ago, along with bouts of major gas (like i was playing an instrument in the morning or something ). The heartburn was everyday for the past 6 years until i stopped the gluten 5 months back. It sounds like you caught yours...
  13. Anyone ever feel like something is alive and crawling around inside of you??
  14. Oh, i just now saw that you are already trying to avoid the dairy...hhmmm...i wonder what your eating that's causing it. I know i had onions in homemade stuffing and also in soup i made and now today my abdominal area is quite tender and i have lots of painful gas. I guess we should all be sticking with plain soft boiled meats, veggies, and fruits until...
  15. OH YES!! Have either of you taken dairy into consideration? I know i took the advice of the others on here myself regarding dairy...and wouldn't you know, the gas got about 80% better!! I still have my days, but now i'm wondering if i have soy issues as well. But i would definitely take dairy out of your diet for at least one week and see what happens...

  21. No offense to anyone...but, what a bunch of a**holes...it's like they don't want to admit that your actually doing the right thing, or that their in some kind of weird denial or something...and trust me, the "everybody else can still eat it just beacuse of her" thing pi**es me off even more!! Maybe if it was them or their own son they would actually try...
  22. I hear ya, my youngest is now 8 months old so trust me, i've been there a couple times now! With my second/last all i ate was pretzels and lemonade. I'm sure your tired of gluten-free pretzels by now. As crazy as it sounds, you almost have to think about what REALLY sounds good to you right now, and i know how hard that can be. In a couple of months it...
