  1. The stadium where the Jets / Giants play now has a gluten-free stand or stands (hopefully). I saw one as you come in the Stadium at the west 50 yrd line. I did not ask if there are others which I should have done. The bad thing is this was all the way on the ground level by the Team Store which is not near a seating area. The had burgers, dogs and sausages...
  2. I wouldn't say they are lying becasue from Day 1 I remember their menu basically stated they cannot guarantee that anything is gluten-free due to CC.
  3. I have had that Spanish Beer that claims to be less than 20 PPM's while being barly based and I have felt sick both times. Conversely, I have been drinking Mike's Lemonade all summer and have felt fine. They have started putting gluten free on two on their light products with the familiar claim that the gluten is removed in the processing. So this...
  4. Bella Donna - Summit Medical Group Diagnosed me in the 2nd visit.
  5. You can still climb to the top.
  6. Sussex County is a little far from where I am so I am not familiar with the area. I see one online - Little Anthony's Pizza in Vernon. There are plenty of websites that could help you out.
  7. Have been noticing a lot more gluten-free options on LBI. I have not tried all of them or can attest to the cross contamination possibilites so please question on your own. Here are some I have read seen: Pangaea Naturals Health Food Market - RT 72 Health food store with plenty of gluten-free items including breads, pastas, cereals and frozen items...
  8. A few years back I was doing South Beach diet so I was eating a ton of peanuts as they are low carb. I had a few serious trips to the bathroom and even broke out it a rash. I went to an allergist and he said I was not allergic to peanuts. But I asked him if a rash could be from gluten and he said "no". Guess he had not heard of DH. The peanuts were Planters...
  9. there is a very good pasta sauce that is labeled gluten-free. It is Silver Plate or Silver Palate. They have vodka sauce and other varieties.
  10. Been to the one in Bridgewater, NJ. Had a similar situation. The chef came out and explained he enjoyed cooking gluten free since it broke up th monotony (sp) of cooking the same meals all the time. They had Red Bridge as well!!!
  11. Found them in Pathmark and A&P.
  12. On the front page of this site there is a listing of this. As far as vodka goes it depends on your friend's tolerence level of gluten. There is an opinion that all vodka is gluten-free as long as it is distilled as this process removes the gluten. Some celiacs that are very sensitive do not agree with this opinion and will not have it. Your best bet...
  13. That was in Pathmark. They had the normal bag but they also had 8 pack of individual bags.
  14. Found them in Pathmark and A&P in NJ. The people without celiac disease ate all my gluten-free rice krispie treats I made. Boo!!! Also, found gluten-free Synders pretzels in individual 100 Cal bags.
  15. Sorry, should have done a better job of identifying the link. Yes, the article is there if you click on My Link.
  16. Don't give up on sandwiches. Try UDI's bread
  17. Always got to read the fine print. Never had those specific bars so I can't answer your question on them. Most companies that use shared equipment state that the lines are washed in between each batch. Not speaking on this product just in general. There is no hard and fast law on what can be labeled as Gluten Free other than it having to have less...
  18. This is the Spanish beer which even though it is made with barley is claiming to be ok for us with Celiac Disease. They state that it is less than 6PPM gluten levels when tested. Well, I am here to say something is amiss with this product. Had it twice and both times ended up with a good trip to the bathroom. Also, I consider myself not to be overly...
  19. Betty Crocker has plenty of gluten-free recipes on their website with their mixes or gluten-free Bisquick. The Grasshopper Brownies are very good.
  20. Can't wait!!! Open Original Shared Link
  21. Well, I had a few last night. I am feeling a little off but no major bouts of issues. I brought a 6 pack. Maybe I will have the other 3 over the weekend. If I feel "off" again I probably will look at this as a failed experiment.
  22. All depends on your personal opionion on how you want to feel. If you have Celiac Disease you are suppossed to be completly gluten free. There are some on this board that are highly sensitive and they have competely gluten free homes, separate toasters / pots and pans etc. There are others that will not knowingly ingest gluten but are not as concerned...
  23. OK this is new to me. I was always under the impression in Canada it was gluten-free but in the US it was not. Now there is that statement from the company about the processing removing the gluten. This is causing great concern about this product since it is made from malt which is normally a no no. I guess this will be left to the individual as we all...
