ARCHIVED Need Some Good Information
NoGluGirl replied to aquamarine-queen's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
Dear AQ, I do not mind having my blood drawn at all. Let me guess, you have never had a colonoscopy? Those are much worse! So are many other things. You name it, I have probably done it! I have had so much done, I am surprised I am not like the operation guy where his nose lights up when you touch him! It is amazing all that... -

Dear Alison, Well, it is not that I hate that hair color altogether, I just hate it on me! It looks bad on me! I am very confident as a raven-headed mistress. You see, I look exactly like my great-grandmother. She was naturally really dark-headed. I did blonde before, and it washed me out and made me look weird. My features just are not... -
ARCHIVED Tired Of Getting Glutened
NoGluGirl replied to Sweetfudge's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
Dear Sweet Fudge, I can totally relate! My parents have glutened me. They are very careless. I think they are in denial of the fact this is a genetic disease and do not want to accept the fact they may have it as well. I have to practically thoroughly exhaust myself obsessively cleaning and cooking all day. Now I know of some easy... -
Dear Jess LeGrand, I did a search on Google. I found gluten-free communion wafers. However, they are not approved by the Catholic Church. If you talk to your preist, perhaps he would allow you to use your own wafers. I would recommend using a different chalice as well. Cross-contamination can make you very ill, especially if you...

ARCHIVED Need Some Good Information
NoGluGirl replied to aquamarine-queen's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
Dear AQ, Right now, my Thyroid appears to be overactive. The tissue in my neck swells up when that is the case. I would love to take Armour Thyroid, because it is supposed to naturally balance it out. I am so tired of this flipping back and forth from over to underactive! Every couple of months, you have to get blood work done! ... -
ARCHIVED Omg...i Might Be On To Something
NoGluGirl replied to Rachel--24's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
Dear Rachel, WOW! Thanks for the info! I have those in my favorites. That is really something! I am glad you are feeling better now. Maybe you did throw up something toxic. That would explain the minor reaction to the gluten. I would just keep heaving, so I have to take promethazine. My system gets like that. I SEE YOU! You are on... -
ARCHIVED Omg...i Might Be On To Something
NoGluGirl replied to Rachel--24's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
Dear Rachel, That is so interesting about Candida and gluten having the same protein sequence! Where did you get that information from? Who would have thought? I had no idea! It sure makes sense! Sincerely, NoGluGirl -
ARCHIVED Need Some Good Information
NoGluGirl replied to aquamarine-queen's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
Dear AQ, I have used coconut oil for my Thyroid when it gets slow. It did help. You need 2 to 3 Tablespoons of it daily for Thyroid sluggishness. I also did extra research and made sure to add Solaray's Rosemary Leaf Extract (1 capsule daily) and Ashwaghanda (Indian Ginseng) (1 capsule daily) as well. Some dietary changes were also made. Certain... -
ARCHIVED Omg...i Might Be On To Something
NoGluGirl replied to Rachel--24's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
Dear Alison, As far as my hair goes, the reason I dyed it in the first place is because I hate my natural color! It is so ugly! It is the god-awful mousy reddish-brown. I do not seem to feel any worse when I have dyed my hair. I know my great-grandmother was dark-haired. I look exactly like her! I will send you a pic. That is why I do... -

Dear Rachel, Sorry to hear of your puking episode. I get the heaves bad. I almost got them this morning, as a matter of fact. I do not know why for sure, but think it was the rice biscuits I made last night. I ate three, and they are high in fat. I cannot tolerate high fat anything most of the time, due to my gallbladder being removed... -

Dear Patti, I thought that was you with the soy intolerance! My hair situation is this: I have been thinking about a major change. However, I am not sure it would work. You see, I was concerned that Jennifer Aniston's style and color would not look good on me. Many people think I look Asian (that was even before I dyed my hair black), so I... -
ARCHIVED Omg...i Might Be On To Something
NoGluGirl replied to Rachel--24's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
Dear Alison, I had the MMR and all of the others as a child! I totally forgot about the vaccines! I also had another round of shots before high school. That same year, I began wearing contacts! Did they still put mercury in the treatments for them in 1997? Dear Donna, I am so glad you finally found out what was... -
Dear stennis07, You could be going through withdrawal. You tend to be addicted to what you are allergic to. The good news is, it gets easier. I actually did not seem to experience withdrawal. My reaction is very violent, so I do not get tempted to cheat at all. My blood sugar tends to drop, so I eat small frequent meals. The Zone Diet...

ARCHIVED Omg...i Might Be On To Something
NoGluGirl replied to Rachel--24's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
Dear Rachel, I was feeling the same before the root canal. I do not think it had a bad affect on me. It is just, if you get your teeth removed, you have to get a partial. That does not include the fact cavitations allow just as much risk. As for the possibility of mercury toxicity, the only two sources I can think of are tuna and my mother... -
ARCHIVED Omg...i Might Be On To Something
NoGluGirl replied to Rachel--24's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
Dear Rachel, Does that mean I have mercury overload as well? I know I have Candida. Does everyone with Candida have mercury poisoning? I never had fillings in my teeth until last year. It was a root canal, and I told them no metal! I had started reading "Beating Alzheimer's" and read about the horrors of modern dentistry. I also got Dr.... -
ARCHIVED Help Me Understand The Difference
NoGluGirl replied to T-Bird's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
Dear Tabatha, Thank you for the compliments! I am not a doctor, but many people say I might as well become one since I have done so much research. Let's just say I know way too many long words that sound weird. I research everything! I forget when I am talking to others to not use the medical terms because they did not read what I read... -

ARCHIVED Omg...i Might Be On To Something
NoGluGirl replied to Rachel--24's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
Dear Lisa, It could be due to a variety of things. It is obvious mercury is not the only problem! I knew Candida was part of it! However, these other values are disturbing. They may be due to pollution. Some people who live in industrialized areas end up having chemicals seep into the ground near their home, which gets into their water pipes... -

ARCHIVED Omg...i Might Be On To Something
NoGluGirl replied to Rachel--24's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
Dear Carla and Donna, I wanted to copy the color as well as the style. I am afraid my features would not look right with it, though. That is what I am worried about. Many people think I am Asian by looking at me, and I do not want to get it done and it look bad. I look like my great-grandmother. I am supposed to be Irish... -

ARCHIVED Omg...i Might Be On To Something
NoGluGirl replied to Rachel--24's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
Dear Carla, That is very frightening with the iron levels! Especially considering you were taking supplements! If you had not taken them, you could bleed to death with the slightest prick! I have a feeling I could be anemic again. This constant breakthrough bleeding cannot be good! I cannot tolerate iron supplements. I can... -
ARCHIVED Still New To This And Need Advice Please
NoGluGirl replied to Emily1728's topic in Related Issues & Disorders
Dear Emily, Gluten intolerance is permanent. You will have to remain on the diet the rest of your life. Colitis is related to Gluten Intolerance and Celiac. It is frustrating, because this is such a big change. However, it is not as complicated once you get in the swing of things. My problem is, I share a kitchen with two inconsiderate people...
