Mtndog posted a topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
I bought some today at Target and I figured oh great its in a bag, easier to carry. I did notice that the bag said natural ingerdients but it didnt say what so I called. It looks a bit strange but when I called I was told the natural ingredients were ground corn cob so it IS safe -
It ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My sister and I went up there for a siter weekend and it was phenomenal! They were so good to us. I called ahead, explained I am gluten-free and the owner Chris knew exactly what I was talking about. He told the chef I was coming and she prepared an asparagus risotto for me. I had that with chicken (WOW!) and sweet potatoe...

I know I know, me too (Nail Envy). It wasn't the last time I checked, but maybe it's changed. You could contact the company and see what they say. I know their colored ones are, but as of a year ago, Nail Envy was not.

Quick drive-by... That C-Diff kills, I had no idea. I suppose it would be even worse in older patients and the chronically ill. I went through heck battling it this summer and i'm 39. I can see how that would happen. Yikes, now I'm even more worried about evie. Alos, Susie Q, I just used a random number as an example. It's just that statistics get... -

Quick drive by.... Rachel- that list is GREAT! I also like spoon theory: Open Original Shared Link I hope Evie is OK. The C Diff over the summer scared the beejeezus out of me! Among other things. Susan- that story is so scary. It just goes to show you that those staistics (1 in 400,000 people will develop X serious side affect) are not statistics... -

richard- You're always looking out for me! You're a good man! My hubby surprised me and called ahead and talked to the owner at Casa Romero. Mexican on one of the alleys off Gloucester between Newbury and Comm Ave. FANTASTIC. It's true Mexican cuisine so there isn't much flour anyway. Mostly corn. Budew- Chocolate It does, supposedly if you eat enough, have the same affect on the brain as marijuana. No chocolate and driving for you! Personally, I am conflicted about the whole fibromyalgia diagnosis, but more about that in a minute. First, I wanted you to know you are not alone. I have arthritis in my neck and lower back. ARCHIVED The Severe Glutening Incidents Are Scaring The Daylights Out Of Me
Mtndog replied to elaine33's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
Hi Elaine- Jjudging by the title of your post, you get really glutened. I am the same way....really sensitive and I think that you will find that you're in good comapny on this board. I react VERY STRONGLY to small amounts of gluten. For instance, I haven't eaten anything with gluten in almost 2 years, but if I happen to get cross-contaminated the reaction... -
Wow Tiffany....I NEVER THOUGHT OF THAT! Thank you..... That would explain why my chicken took forever to cook the other night!!!!!!!!!!!!

hi Celia and Miamia! missed you both. Rinne- i was checking out the salt/ C treatment protocol for Lyme. I think I remembered you saying it was increasing your energy. Is this right? I'm interested in it and read a bit on Lyme strategies. thanks for posting that link! -
Koch- I would not eat a stuffed turkey either. I don't know how close your nephew lives, but if close enough maybe you could make gluten-free stuffing the night before and bring it over for him to stuff the bird. I just made some Friday night and it was super easy. Glutino gluten free corn bread Bell's seasoning butter thyme oregano salt and...
