    Some of us that didn't lose weight after going gluten free might be interested in a study. It was done in 2006, and showed that 81% of Celiac's going Gluten Free......gain weight!!

    War Eagle. What I do, is have my Mom send it to me. They won't ship to AL because it takes too long and they want their stuff eaten or frozen by the time I would get it.     I love their Chocolate Chip Cookies, banana bread and everything else I have tasted made by them. I also only get their stuff if my Mom sends it or go to visit her and stop by the Gluten Free Source in Dillsburg. YUM!!!

    Short answer, yes. Long answer, you will have to check with your administrator to see if they are set up for it. But under law the difference between gluten free food and its regular counterpart is eligible. Many administrators do not want to hassle with the difference and will count the whole cost. Lucky you if they do.

    I just went through the Atlanta Airport in June, going to the GIG conference in Richmond. I got a note, from my doctor. It said that I have Celiac, that I am on a medically restricted diet and that I need to bring my own food with ice pack.     You can claim the difference between gluten-free food and regular as a medical deduction. Medical deductions must be on the long form and also must be over something like 7% of your adjusted gross. Talk to your tax person, or if you do your own, read about medical deductions.     I am a stay at home home schooling mom. My husband is an Electrical Engineer. He doesn't work for the School, but for a small company. I hear the Vet School is great. Although I also hear it is hard to get into. What else do we do here? Drive to Birmingham and Atlanta to go to Whole Foods.
