    FYI: Do NOT stop feeding your child gluten until you see the gastro. The child must be consuming gluten to get accurate test results. I know it is hard to do, but let the Dr see your child on gluten first and discuss your options. Bloodwork is frequently off.     My 2 yr old gets the rashes from gluten too. For her it is insanely itchy. Benadryl itch stick helps some. I use diaper creams too. But nothing makes her feel 100% better.

    My daughter also had a rash and it does not look like DH. Hers is on her feet and calves. But it was a constant, red, pin head rash and insanely itchy. Once she finally went gluten-free the rash is gone. It comes back when she is glutened.

You don't want to go through the head ache of a biopsy and have a sort of healed intestine which will make it harder t find the damaged villi.
