  1. I have to ask. Verifiable by whom ?
  2. This is the best advice I 've heard in a loooong time. Thank you!
  3. I bet you DID feel better! My doctor didn't diagnose me, but at least he didn't argue when I did.
  4. I have to say, in all my reading on this board, I have counted you as the third positive story about a doctor respecting and properly treating a patient, as regards Celiac disease. I am certain there are plenty I've missed, I can't possibly read everything. But in two years, 'typical' is not a word I'd use to describe. Perhaps I should spend more time in...
  5. As this particular requirement is not part of the board rules, I am assuming it comes from your personal need for reference before accepting a statement made by another poster. Perhaps a "Based on research done by myself over a number of years, but not verified by any government agency, this is my opinion." statement on fiddle-Faddle's part would suffice...
  6. That lady created the ugliest kitchen I have ever seen in my entire life. And yes, that is a painting of poop.
  7. Uhhhh.... Don't you normally put ... milk.... in pudding? I don't think alcohol would allow it to set. But a red wine-fruit flavor might be ok.
  8. Hey, for all we know, Paul was lactose intolerant or Celiac and had incontinence issues on the road. I'd call THAT a thorn in my side!
  9. Threeseh, they got hypo-allergenic dogs you know, you could always get in touch with a rescue association. And there's always birds.... I know, you can't cuddle a bird. I asked me mum for a baby pic too, will see what is unearthed.
  10. There is the fact that Celiac can cause other issues, or be related to other issues, that if your children have had severe intestinal problems, you might want to check for. That being said, a colonoscopy is NOT a walk in the park, not for everyone anyway. Not only is the 'cleansing' portion of your program violent and painful, but there are those happy...
  11. Whoohoo!!! Maybe next time they say gluten-free food doesn't taste good, you can remind them of the cupcakes!
  12. I'm trying to point out that all this kerfuffle is over a needless, ineffective vaccine. From what I undertand of the information I provided, the current measles epidemic is only threatening the lives of children who can't get proper healthcare. You asked to me provide some facts with my 'baseless accusations'. If this vaccine doesn't actually save...
  13. Oh Lord, we're thinking WAYYYY too much about it!!!!!
  14. Apparently, boxers are 'south' (duh) and anything that 'gathers and binds' winds up 'north'. Makes sense......
  15. I'd like to think any vaccine that's suspected of being harmful and inneffective should be investigated by people concerned with children's welfare. Perhaps we should start a new thread?
  16. Oh, I thought I asked a simple question, the last of which you answered readily and calmly enough. I wasn't aware that my new, related, similar question qualified as a 'baseless charge'. My mistake. And yes, innumerable children being helplessly, needlessly subjected to injected poisons is an enormous concern for me. Autism qualifies as needless suffering...
  17. Ok, I have consulted with one of the 'package distribution experts', if you will. My boyfriend's a runner so he wears those spandex pants all the time. Apparently, distribution is invariably northward...... Oh! Oh! If anyone is gonna post a Lost spoiler, can you warn me so I skip that part? We wait til the season comes out on DVD (Blu-ray, no less!)...
  18. You know what else is gluten free? chicken beef turkey rice avocado fish celery carrots lettuce peas corn cheese milk broccoli green beans kidney beans squash potatos sweet potatos
  19. Just a comment about 'preventative care' in the US. Ever wonder why women are getting mammograms? To detect breast cancer, right? Well, did you know that one mammogram exposes a womans chest area to 40 times the radiation of a chest xray, and that repeated radiation exposure at the levels used for mammograms is number 3 on the list of risk factors...
  20. Why has no one mentioned the fact that Texas is chock-full o' gluten-free restaurnts n bakeries? OF COURSE I'LL COME VISIT!!!!!!!!! Open Original Shared Link Open Original Shared Link wHoo! Lucky Padt! Speaking of baby pictures, I should put up a few. I was such a digustingly cute child that it's virtually nauseating.... Iwas pretty...
  21. If it helps at all, you might tell him tha tmy landscaper boyfriend's coworkers made fum of him at first for bringing his lunch, but now they're all jealous because of all the cool stuff he brings. Soemtimes I send banana bread or muffins or cake and they all try to take it from him! And I make him pasta salad or tomato/mozzarella salad or all sorts of stuff...
