  1. Never mind, results just showed up in my email..... I am gluten sensitive and they reccomend a strict gluten free diet. Well, I guess that makes it official.. so I am not celiac what is the word for me- Did I see Gluteniac? somewhere.
  2. I am really anxious to see results, I know website says 3weeks but are they every early?? No matter what tests say I feel better not eating gluten so I will stay that way but still want to see results soon.
  3. Another "C" here, Always always been a problem. Best solution to date is 1. Magnesium tabs daily 2. 1 Activia every morning ( no dairy issues that I know of - yet) but what I found best was a product at your local health food store called SWISS KRISS. keeps you moving daily....but alas I have diverticulosis and they said I cannot take it...

  5. Anything that can do double duty.. A roast chicken on sunday can become chicken sandwiches then a chicken on salad then chicken and noodles.   6. Welcome, I too am fairly new and I have done lots on internet research, This is a wonderful site for all the info you are asking for. I have also looked at celiac list serve and they have some of the lists your are asking about. Baking flours and some other items are much cheaper at Asian or Indian markets if you have any in your area. Good Luck
  7. Thanks all, I do need the extra fiber (believe it or not) so I will prob mix the white and brown. Yep our asian stores carry both reg white and sweet white but nobody here carries that fine grind so I will mix or has anyone tried to take the Bob's and whiz it in the processer to make it a finer grind? I have also mixed Teff in a number of baked goods...
  8. Our local markets do not carry the fine grind rice flour now used by most cookbook's. I know you can order- but seems very pricey compared to the fine grind white I can get here. Is there any big diff or is there something else I can use. Any idea's welcome. Thanks
  9. The going out is proving tougher for me too. There are however a number of national chain rest. that have gluten free menus that help make it easier. My 23 yr old daughter is going gluten free and it is VERY hard for her. I can find Fine ground white rice at local asian markets, but no where other than expensive interenet order shop can I find the brown rice reccomended in some receipes. Is there a big differance? or is there something else I can add to the white ? Thanks for the help.

  19. The way I take probiotics is 1. Accidopholis pearls (small round capsule) from health food store. I have systemic yeast. The other way I currently get probiotics is from Activia which if I test positive for Lactose Int. that will stop I am sure. But they have both helped.
