    Apparently because the ER doctor didn't think it was "urgent" they wouldn't call him in. I also guess that because we didn't go during the day, the Hematologist wasn't called since it was "after hours."     Sarah, Your rice sounds great. We do the same thing with the chicken, except we do 2 jars of Trader Joe's salsa. It is literally my favorite meal! Kassandra P.S. Trader Joe's has a Spanish rice mix that is really good...and gluten-free.

    Carla, Would about 3.30 my time work? That's 6.30 your time...right? lol. That is unless we decide to go to the ER tonight. We are going to also call a new hematologist that is on our plan and see if they can get me in because Iron IVs are a series of treatments.     It is basically a plan for a student who has any kind of illness or severe allergy that requires special attention. I have one (I am in my Junior Year of HS) and it basically says that if I am absent and miss a test, teachers must let me make the test up without any penalty. It would be very different for a young kid though. You use it to get the accommodations...

    Jin, The only reason we are looking for the iron IV's to help is just as a band-aid. We know we need to get to the bottom, but in the meantime...it is dangerous to walk around with levels this low. I officially have no color in my skin. Never mind the fact I am supposed to get my period, but I haven't yet. So, once I get it (if it decides to come) my numbers...

    What about their rice milk? It is gluten-free, sf, df. We get it all the time. I can't have nuts, so we use Hemp Milk or Rice Milk (make sure it's NOT Rice Dream brand.) Kassandra

It is so hard for me...before I went gluten-free I could eat anything and never gain a pound (well, unless I was taking BCP's). But now, I eat salad and I gain weight! LOL! Carla, Wow!     We have one too! It is amazing! I even made a lot of dough and froze it in little balls, so on a weeknight it is easy to take them out and use the press and then heat them up. We also have a pan (can't remember the name) and we love it! It is great for heating up gluten-free brown rice tortillas. Kassandra

    It is a long story, but I am in High School in my junior year. I am having a lot of very serious and complicated health issues. I am not able to make it through a school day.
