  1. For the rice tortilla's...how do you prepare them? When I warmed one up, it was GROSS and crumbly. Any ideas? Kassandra
  2. Andrea, Do you mind if I ask what you eat? I can't have tree nuts, peanuts, dairy or eggs. I am out of ideas although I have some. Kassandra
  3. Lol. That does kind of defeat the purpose. I'd try putting the ice in a bag, it makes more sense. Kassandra
  4. Sorry, I should have posted the website. It's Open Original Shared Link. It's a new way to approaching cleaning and organization. They say everything can be done in 15 minutes. It looks really cool. I am going to Target later tonight to get a timer so I can start with it tomorrow. Kassandra
  5. Thank you all for the warm welcome! I have a question for those of you who are soyfree. Do you avoid soy lecithin? I have read that it doesn't bother some people but others do avoid it. Just wondering as I venture into this new tree nut and soy free diet. It is so frustrating. Also, mold!!! Ahh! What are the symptoms of mold toxicity? I know that is what...
  6. I was looking at some old threads and read about FlyLady. It's amazing! I am a great procrastinator and it looks like it might be worth trying! I just wondered if anybody else does this? Kassandra
  7. The snickerdoodle cookies are AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! Kassandra
  8. Mmm...this is all making me hungry. I'm excited for the school year to start so I can take my fake bento (from target) to school. I bought a purple arctic zone lunch box thing and it fits in the lunch box perfectly. I know some people are skeptics about the blue ice thing, but it really does keep the food really cold which is nice because it's about 100 degrees...
  9. It is very possible that these foods are causing the problems. It may be a casein issue rather than a lactose issue. You should try going 100% soy and casein free for a few weeks at least and then introduce one and wait a while and see your reaction and then introduce the other to see what happens. Good luck! Kassandra
  10. I tried to read some of these posts, but there are ALOT!!! Lol, you guys and gals have all been very very busy people. Is there any way to get a quick recap? Also, is there anyone on the soyfree and dairyfree diet? I have lots of questions. Kassandra
  11. Doll, OMG...I'm so jealous! I went to an allergist today and he totally doubted Celiac disease and kept telling me I may need to take wheat out of my diet. I told him I was on a gluten free diet, and he kept saying, "It's really a big commitment to take wheat out of your diet." He didn't get that I;m not eating ANY wheat products because they contain GLUTEN...
  12. Thank you for all the suggestions. It's really hard because I'm going into my junior year at high school and I hate not being able to eat the other things people are eating. At least I was able to make some sweet things like gluten-free brownies, but not anymore because most of them contain soy flour! I am also really not able to stop after one cookie, etc...
  13. I went to the allergist today and he said he thinks I have a tree nut and soy allergy. I am gluten, dairy, peanut and egg free already. (Not completely egg free, but no omelette's, etc...okay in baking mixes though.) I don't know what to eat. Does anyone have any ideas? I need snack ideas and breakfast ideas...any help?? Thank you in advanced. Kassandra
  14. I'm not anorexic, but I do have serious self-image problems. The only thing I would say is that I completely understand the want to never eat again. I just went to an allergist today and he said I probably have a soy problem. I'm egg (in the form of omelletes, etc.) free, peanut free, dairy free and gluten and NOW he wants me to go soy free! What is there...
  15. I am also casein free and it's not that hard. It was really hard in the beginning, but it gets easier. Since you have the antibodies, you should stay away from it. If nothing else, a lot of people go casein free at the beginning (few months or so) until the villi repair themselves. It is up to you. I never noticed that dairy was bothering me until I went...
  16. I was a member a while ago. The only thing my mom and I didn't like, was within a couple months (maybe 2) we stopped getting results. It's great for starting out and getting back into workout mode, but if you really want to build muscle, etc. we found it wasn't really possible. The reason being, you can't adjust the weight amount on machines. Kassandra
  17. Lol! YAY!!! Congrats! Kassandra
  18. They are in the tupperware container aisle. It's not usually on the aisle with "disposable" containers, but the aisle with "real" containers. If I remember correctly it was only about $8. Kassandra
  19. That link didn't work...this one should! Bento Box! Kassandra
  20. Bento Box Just testing a link.
  21. I don't have a real bento box, just a "Fit Fresh" thing from Target. I sat at the dinner table tonight while we were talking after we had finished and I packed it all right then.I am going sugar free, so there aren't really any sweets, but maybe soon I will sneak some sugary goodness in! Here is the picture. The two little containers stack on top of...
  22. There was a thread on this a while ago. I take Yaz which I really like, but it does have dairy in it. It's really not enough to make me react though. Also, someone said it was a really pure form of dairy, so it doesn't matter?? I don't know...but you may want to find the old thread on this. Kassandra
  23. Suddenly I am just exhausted. I don't know what the deal is. I have had a history of anemia, and that's what it feels like, but I don't think I am because I have been gluten-free long enough. I am also going through a lot of physical stuff, but it's not that big of a deal. I am just SO tired! I have so much stuff to do, but I can't get up. Does anyone have...
  24. It is really interesting. It starts to become a food thing...there is almost nothing interesting to eat when you don't eat sugar. I am also dairy free so I can't eat a piece of cheese for a snack. Vegetables become so boring after a while. Ugh...sorry I'm just so annoyed at all of this. Kassandra
  25. So if one has a yeast overgrowth and is so addicted to sugar (like me), what do you do to get rid of the cravings? I also want sugar all the time. I can't not eat it. Flour/carbs aren't as much of a problem. I never crave potatoes or rice but constantly crave cookies, etc. I need help! Kassandra
