  1. So what does basic and plain diet mean, Lynne?
  2. Kassandra, glad you are ok. Rachel, sounds like you had fun, and glad the foods are not bothering you too much. Andrea, on the ants! I'd be concerned about the pesticide, but you also have to have the ants dealt with. Can you call Dr. E. about some prevention? Increase your chlorella, etc.? Mia hope there is relief soon, is there a clue...
  3. Donna, YAY on sleeping! A big clue maybe!!!! Keep working on that detox....wanna get those metals out and the bugs too. Lynne, welcome! Can you tell us more about what you have tried and what testing you have had? The allergies might be secondary to other things, maybe we could make some suggestions. In terms of allergy testing, you can do a blood...
  4. Donna, glad you made it through to get the challenge and the little orange jug. I know you have waited a long time to get to this point! I don't have much input on the meds other than it sure could be stirring things up, both bugs and metals. Maybe you should get some more of the pectin and use it? Sure hope these meds work to clear out the bugs...
  5. I am interested in hearing that all of you have the ringing...(tinnitus?). I don't but my hubby does; I don't think I'd convince him to consider if he has lyme though, LOL. Sherry
  6. I think is likely just that particular one.....I really got angry at them.
  7. Nope just missed the Los Vegas idea until now, LOL! Maybe...right now more travel isn't exciting to me....you'd never believe it but I'm really a home body.
  8. A fun idea to look forward to.... Well I don't need to go to that aisle as I was there last winter for a new bag...LOL. BUT, you'll never get me back there for a prescription at that pharmacy!!! I had nothing but headaches getting my meds there.
  9. Yeah, I'm so indispensable, Actually, the folk there who are trying to coordinate are getting way overloaded. Huge numbers arrive every day unannounced to "help," with varied levels of training (many none to speak of), and many disaster areas are not opened up for teams to go in. So we'll wait and see when and if they can use help. Meanwhile the...
  10. Hey, everyone. Heard from my husband today and the assessment is that it is not really necessary for me to go to the disaster area next week. I am quite relieved, as I think that is better for me health-wise. Sherry
  11. Wow, thanks Kassandra! Got it copied to a file now, I'm hoping on Monday to see if I can find these locally, or at least some of them. Sherry
  12. Thanks for this explanation, Rachel. I'll ask Dr. E specifically when I see her. It might be that mainly it took so much time for ART because for every thing she was trying to balance it took a long time to find something that would work. So it might be it was a time thing, plus not too much showing on ASYRA, plus using drops from the ASYRA cleared some...
  13. Woohoo...how about this summer while I'm in the US? You, Andrea and I could get together!! LOL Sherry
  14. Sure does, and reminds me I need to squeeze one in while I am here this week. Sherry
  15. Good! I'm having a little trouble lately too. This week it is stress--back on Ambien. Yeah, I have some similar issues, with a bunion, but it hasn't been quite so painful except at times. I suspect but am not sure, this it is related to the systemic issues as it gets worse when the lyme is worse. After my experience, I'd still suggest...
  16. duplicate post Sherry
  17. Hmm, thanks for this. Seems like I need to read it over and over--and still get confused. So, if Dr. E. said there was no problem showing up in my pathways, I could still need to detox sulfa? I don't know why she decided not to do LED; is the LED more for sensitivities to things? Sherry
  18. It is so important to our health to be able to be real with at least some people in our life. I don't think we should tell everyone--that's not having appropriate boundaries. But being able to tell at least some people and welcoming their support is important. Sometimes if we play the hero all the time, others don't realize we need a kind word or an affirmation...
  19. Julie, I am so sorry to hear this news. Could this be a clue? Between the sulpha treatment and the change in diet? I will be thinking of you and hoping it will resolve quickly. Sherry
  20. It took me a lot longer at first than it does now, it was weird and awkward at first. Sherry
  21. Paula, I'll PM you. Sherry
  22. Remind me about what is happening with your foot? Just wanted to mention that I went to two different podiatrists for several visits, they ordered orthotics, one gave me shots . Both were bringing up surgery. Last winter I finally went to an orthopedic surgeon specializing in the foot, who also treats the top athletes in our area. He said no surgery...
  23. No she said she wasn't going to do any LED treatment on me at this point, but I am not sure why. The ASYRA didn't bring up much of anything which surprised her, maybe that is why? Seemed like the infections were the major things. Sherry
  24. Carla, I am not using R/O water too, since I got my unit. But yeah, it could have to do with the water. Julie, I am really curious about the sulfur pathways and food intolerances. I did not test with ASYRA of having any problems with sulfur. But some things are suspicious and others don't fit that. But now you, Kassandra, Donna, Rachel (others?)...
  25. Yes, always ask here about anything. I've been doing ecoffee (we coined that term on this thread....) since I was diagnosed with lyme in 2000. Mainly because it is the one thing that made such a difference. The way I do it is almost exactly how Carla described. Just a few little differences: -I boil the coffee in a pot of water on the stove for 10...
