ARCHIVED Omg...i Might Be On To Something

I keep my hair very short because it is fine and thin and this way it has more body and looks fuller. I have been washing most every day although when I am not going out I'll skip a day. I don't normally condiition, I'll have to experiment. I am seeing Dr. E tomorrow morning and she wants to look at the labs, so I'll post what she says first, and my... -

Forgot to post about the prescription pancreatic enzymes. I increased my dose from 1 to 2 three times a day with meals. My nausea has gone away since I did that. What I take has amylase; lipase; protease in an extended release capsule, Dose Form Description: capsule, extended release 65000 units-20000 units-65000 units respectively. What I understand... -

Hmm, yes I think that may be a good clarification to make. There is one approach that talks about the memory being a "container." I think its not about changing what happened, that's factual. Its rather about choosing a more healthy response, and an important part of freeing a person to do that is processing the feelings. The cool thing is that then these... -

Well, I went through the stuff on the Marshall protocol my LLMD gave me and my major concerns are that I would have to stop my allergy shots and estrogen/progesterone. I am probably about ready to do the latter, at least my gyn said once I had stopped menstrating it would be time. Seems like I am about there, only two times in 6 months or so. But the... -

Open Original Shared Link According to these counting rules if they can be applied to urine essential elements (instead of hair), 2 out of three ways of counting show mineral transport issues and a high probability of mercury. So it looks like my oral chelation hasn't helped. -

I haven't discussed these with my doctor yet, but my impression is that malabsorption is still very much an issue, as well as lead and maybe mercury. My doctor gave me a whole stack of materials to read about the Marshall protocol; I guess that means he is considering this approach. Sherry -

Here's Part 2: Urine Toxic Metals *Lead 10 (<5) This is higher even than last year. Mercury 3.2 (>4) This is improved but I am worried that because the essential elements are wacky that mercury is just not moving out. Essential Elements These are low: **Sodium 500 (1000-5200) *Phosphorus 400 (250-1300) *Calcium 67 (55-400) ... -

Okay I'll try to post the highlights here of my labs: Here's Part 1. Double stars are 2 standard deviations low, one star is 1 SD low. NO-Tyrosine 6.4 (1.1-6.8) This is an indicator of inflammation apparently: "Nitrotyrosine has been identified as an indicator of cell damage and inflammation, as well as of the production of NO. It is believed that... -

Donna, I am really thrilled for you! This is so fantastic! I too am noticing that I am taking more pains with my appearance, wearing my EM almost every day, etc. I don't have a house to makeover....but I can't wait to hear more details about yours! -

Well said, Carla. This was my tendency too. Also I think it is important to look at this ability to box them away as a God-given capacity. We need to do this until we are mature enough and have the resources to take it back out and deal with it. We can't deal with it as children, it is just way too much. Paula, I would guess you haven't read... -

Julie, I tried my first castor oil pack today, except years ago I tried a liver pack. Anyway, noticed a flare of toxic like feeling for awhile. I took extra chlorella, and was going to take some charcoal but it seems to be better. I might have kept it on too long. I know that my doctor recommended them to me at the outset of my lyme treatment so I... -

Nyxie, thanks for sharing. I read a book called Shattered Assumptions that made so much sense to me about how these experiences undermine these simple assumptions we make that let us move through life without such anxiety that bad things will/might happen. I really liked what she talked about in terms of how we have to come to grips with it and create some... -

I'd have to look back at the whole thing. What I recall is that the verbal/emotional didn't show up as much, I might not have had enough data on just that alone without accompanying other forms of abuse. I tried to look for all the major chronic illness issues that I noticed in the records, but sometimes the number was just too small to see any trend. ... -

Donna I really like this avatar the best of all! I like both you and Carla's new ones. I'm not putting mine up because where I work in China is simply too small a world (westerners doing what I do) and I don't want my pix out there in cyberspace. I totally agree with all of this. If I can find a copy, I'll post the abstract for the study I... -

April, about your daughter's leg pain...my lyme related pain prior to treatment would come and go in crazy ways. I remember once having a swollen ankle that I couldn't put any weight on, and 3-4 hours later it was totally fine and I had a shoulder ache. -

Just got a glimpse of my heavy metal report, but won't get a copy until my LLMD reviews all the labs, hopefully tomorrow. My mercury was in the normal level range---I think that is good news hopefully. However, my lead was even more elevated which is not good. I am guessing that I am getting lead somewhere in China, perhaps water. The nurse said they... -
ARCHIVED Better Yet Still Feel Worse

I'll just chime in though I am sorry I am not doing too well today so couldn't read through everything thoroughly. I figured out that both casein and soy are problematic for me, and found out that the proteins are kind of similar to gluten in structure so for a group of celiacs (not all though) these are also a problem. My symptoms after going gluten...
