  1. Thanks for the input on ART and my decision about Levaquin. I wrote Dr. E about whether I could have become dependent on the Zithromax, and she wrote: "if your body was done with it, it would have showed up as a stress state. If your body had adapted to it, it would not have caused a healing state (a yin state) AND it would not have shown to be effective...
  2. I'll have been on it 1 month later this week. I'd say that I am worse this month. Some of it seems to be side effects perhaps. Nausea (better now with increased pancreatic enzymes), insomnia. maybe edema and little itching. I can live with this okay so far. Symptoms that are worse are brain fog, fatigue, pain off and on, intestinal issues that are...
  3. Paula, I have done the enterolab malabsorption and am still waiting for the results. They received it on 1/31...so I am hoping to get the results soon and am frustrated that it takes so long. Sherry
  4. Thanks Andrea. I guess I just don't have a long enough track record with ART so I still wonder especially because with lyme the drugs that work often bring on symptoms too. Sherry
  5. Amy, you might try the sun kissed fair. I think it looks very similar to multi tasking in the jar. It may be just a tad lighter and just a tad less pink. I have similar coloring and thought MT was a great match but when I tried the sun kissed fair it seemed better on me. Sherry
  6. Yes, I just wish there was a way to more clearly diagnose. As a double DQ2 who didn't have blood work or biopsy before going gluten-free, I just have nagging questions. I don't mind staying gluten-free now that I've adjusted but would love to not have to be so exacting about CC. I don't have clear symptoms and have a lot of other things going on, so I...
  7. Your description strikes me too as an allergic reaction. There were a lot of ingredients in what you tried that were not in your simplified diet. I agree with the suggestion of trying to make your own flour mix, at least until you figure out the problem. What about trying to make pancakes first? They are a little easier, and you could try first with...
  8. Dr. E did ASYRA first on foods, last month. Just phenols came up. They told me before the first appointment to bring any foods I wanted tested. I didn't have time to bring much since I had just arrived the afternoon before that. I am so new to this alternative approach that I can't get my head around what each does. I guess I need a short little phrase...
  9. Hi, just caught up with reading, was busy all weekend with my family. I am totally in agreement with the sugar...I have got to get off it all but have been fighting it. For all of you who do ART, have you found the food testing accurate in terms of what makes you sick and what is okay? Dr. E said a little milk is okay, and butter is fine. My avoids...
  10. Donna, that sounds so useful. I hope that the new treatments help. Especially the mold stuff. I'm doing so-so today. Skipped the ecoffee today and I really notice it. Dr E said the sample of coffee I brought with me was not good at all (supposedly organic). Since I never drink coffee I really don't know if it is that particular kind or an allergy...
  11. Patti, it's nice to see your posts once in awhile. I've been wondering how settled you now feel in your new home. Sherry
  12. I did that initially, my LLMD prefers transdermal DMPS over the oral form. The problem is it isn't stable beyond 3 months and I couldn't take it with me overseas for longer periods. If the minerals would work, that would be great. I'll ask about that, thanks. Sherry
  13. That's horrible! I hope there is nothing in fine print...what's happening with the lawyers? Of course this is my concern. Dr. E said she can't tell from my results if I am moving it out and my lowered level is truly lower. She wants my LLMD's opinion. Yes, I have been faithfully taking a mineral supplement and also extra magnesium...
  14. Julie, this is exactly it. I've been having a rough couple of days. Wow, I didn't know that either. I think sometimes I have been taking them together. Well maybe I knew it at one point LOL. These days I give a caveat to everything I say I never knew. If you are having an allergic reaction to food, try a little baking soda in water...
  15. Calcium constipates, mag helps with constipation according to my understanding. Kassandra I love your picture!
  16. Well I wouldn't want to mislead, LOL. I'm not totally without gray...just a little sprinkling though and not that noticeable. My hair is a gray brown to begin with so it blends in ok so far. I'm grateful because I would look absolutely horrid with black hair and that is the only dye anyone in China would know how to do, LOL! Sherry
  17. I think that with a family member diagnosed as celiac, your similar history and symptoms, and your amazingly positive response to the diet, you really don't need any more testing to know what you have to do! Also I think the caution already mentioned about any severe symptoms is very important. Please be careful!
  18. Carla, the pictures just get better and better! I think your hair looks great!
  19. I can't tell that it is helping; overall I feel worse. I can't tell what the symptoms are from but generally more brain fog, fatigue, pain, fatigue, fatigue, did I say fatigue? I'm going to try your rinsing idea, I haven't been using any conditioner. I keep my hair really short which seems the best for me. I haven't had to do any coloring yet...maybe...
  20. The tapping has really been helping, so I don't think I'll forget it so easily again. Dr E added Pohe root for lymph and erlichia. Apparently the erlichia has been clogging up my system. Also the Jarrow nattokinase for lymph and fibrin. She mentioned again the fibrin issues caused by lyme. I do hope eventually it will be cheaper, right now it...
  21. Jin, thanks for your PM. One good thing... Dr. E said that the 1 capsule of Mastica I am taking three times a day is working. I was taking 5-6 at a time last year to treat it and it worked well, so I am glad that just this little bit is enough.
  22. Happy Valentine's Day! Just managed to get online so will give a very brief update of my appointment today with Dr. E. Basically the Levaquin does not test well for me, and doesn't benefit me against the bugs at all according to ART. Zithromax does, along with the herbals. So I'll be sending a message to my LLMD before I refill the Levaquin next...
  23. Kassandra, my problem with this seems to be allergy to things in the shampoo. Gluten free helped, I try to avoid perfumes as well. Do you get itching as well as flaking? There is a natural shampoo method but I forget, seems like it is using an egg??
  24. Carla, I do seem to handling the levaquin pretty well. The one symptom I suspected was nausea which has cleared with the increased enzymes. I seem to be having mild herx much of the time, but quite mild. I did have some pain for a couple of days but again mostly mild to moderate. I am still going up on the adrographis too, almost to the top. All...
  25. I meant to post this during our discussion of psychological/spiritual approaches. At my last appointment my LLMD mentioned that the infections that I have destroy the integrity of the cell wall. He said just like sexual abuse violates a boundary in a person (referring to the study that I mentioned above). He suggested that I make it an earnest focus...
