  1. Thanks to both of you for these suggestions. I'm making a list to carry in my purse--until I learn the ropes.bv
  2. Jason, This does really sound difficult, especially when you don't see a lot of progress. With you having been faithful for several months, I would start to wonder if there is something else going on that is causing the multiple sensitivities. There are several threads here of folks that have found help one way or another. Hopefully they'll post...
  3. I just got back to Oregon after living overseas since being diagnosed. I already have family and friends wanting to take us out for dinner. On top of the general adjustment process this is overwhelming to me. Can you all help me with a few suggestions? Then I'll know what restaurants to suggest to them.
  4. I've never noticed the white lines, and haven't been officially fingerprinted. But last year I bought a new computer that has a computer sensor for login, and it has the hardest time reading my fingerprints. Sometimes I run multiple fingers multiple times before it detects. I'm about to ask my DH to put his fingerprint on the thing. He has the same brand...
  5. I'm on the KingChlorella too. Sherry
  6. I am also using EM makeup and like it very much. It was great to find something bismuth free, and the ingredients are very simple. I haven't had really sensitive skin, but my eyes are sensitive, and I have some trouble with inhalent reactions to makeup. I'm glad to find something that I feel good in. I haven't quite figured out how to keep it from enhancing...
  7. I think there are still a lot of opinions about where to draw the line between gluten sensitivity and celiac, and yours is a valid opinion, Rachel. The thing is for me, I didn't have the opportunity for either blood tests or biopsy. So I have to make a call based on what I do have. I have one more possible clue, the picture from the endoscopy done in China...
  8. Thanks RPM that helps so much! Yep, me too. I am hoping to look a little younger...but hey, what can you expect when you're in your 5th decade? LOL Sherry
  9. Yes that makes absolute sense. It's good to know that you were just a bit worse, that I can handle--I am dealing with that anyway off and on, and already am dealing with it on the new drops. I'm quite foggy this morning.
  10. Carla, I just looked again at the prescription he wrote, and it is written for 28 days, but refill is "prn" or as needed. So it looks like I can stay on it for awhile. I see him the first part of March but will be in regularly for IV's meantime. My LLMD is only 5 minutes away from where I am living this time!!
  11. April, I asked him about it because I said I was wishing I had a more firm diagnosis. He said it was firm enough. He went on to say that he has had people (lots of kids) that have had biopsies that he suspects as celiac, and he said he has not had even 1 come back with a positive biopsy!! But Enterolab has picked up a lot of them that clinically have then...
  12. Hmm. So you herxed for 6 weeks? Well, I think he'll renew if he thinks it will/is working. I'm not anxious to herxing the whole time I am in the USA!
  13. Carla, Were you on three months of levaquin without a break? My doc isn't so familiar with it for lyme, and he looked it up and said he could write the prescription for 28 days. I found a little info from Dr. B about it, which said at least a month and three months for really sick patients. Sherry
  14. Thanks, glad to know that I'm not the only one. I have had to skip posts sometimes, and I do really want to follow and understand everyone on this thread so I can contribute where I can. The other thing that really helps me is typing with normal use of capitalizations. With all lower case, I can't see the beginning and end of sentences (which also helps...
  15. I am not sure I'd call what I went through all withdrawal, but I certainly went through weeks and weeks of adjustments. I felt like my whole body was readjusting. Skin, digestion, elimination, periods, and then just hard to describe feelings of things shifting. So yes, I think what you are going through is related to gluten.
  16. Thanks Andrea. Yes, I think I am on the right track. Some more intensity with going after the bugs and metals, and the ART to help guide it along. Oh, Dr. G was quite interested in the Humaworm as well.
  17. Okay, anyway here's the brief update from my LLMD (Dr. G) visit: He works with Dr. Amy though he doesn't know Dr. E., and says if the ART indicates it, that's what he will go by. He won't do more lyme testing because he thinks the ART is more accurate than the labs for lyme anyway. Treatment will follow Dr. E's suggestions mostly. He is rechecking my...
  18. Hi everyone, I've been reading along but not able to post very much, there's so much going on for me right now. Today was a challenging day...repairmen here all morning, computer issues, lost my car keys just before my trip to the doctor and had to call a friend to take me only to find my keys where I had looked 6 times already. Stupid brain fog...
  19. Julie, I have two kinds here with me...I have had several bottles that I bought at various times, and didn't really pay attention. One is called Good N Natural, and it is 260 mg per capsule, and the other is Nature's Way, and it is 280 mg per capsule. So my dose is 3 in the evening, and I can also take extra when I need it for symptoms. I think this...
  20. My first thought is that testing negative for lyme is not conclusive, which is why it is a clinical diagnosis. Secondly, I'd want to be sure he was tested at Igenex lab. I'd suggest he see a really good LLMD, and then perhaps someone who is really good at ART and ASYRA. This would help pinpoint his problems and what meds or supplements he might best...
  21. I'll add in as I use it regularly. It reduces my lyme symptoms/herx symptoms. Most recently I have been taking 2-3 when I wake up in the middle of the night, or even set an alarm to get up and take it. Now, Dr. E. wants me to take 3 at bedtime. I also take it again if I start to have symptoms. Just keep it away from other meds/supplements. (I try for...
  22. Carla, I think it is fantastic that you feel good enough to work part time! Yay! Rachel, I am also rather disappointed not to see more of the tapeworm...because I wanted evidence that I actually was rid of it. However, I only saw that one two inch piece. I am guessing that it all breaks down. I'd like to pass it whole, along with all its mercury kept...
  23. Hi, I saw a reference on the board to toaster bags. I'm in a situation where that would be very useful. I see some made of fiberglass that are good for 100 uses, and some other kind better for 10 uses. Which ones do you recommend and where did you buy them?
  24. Birdy, I don't know, either. The whole ART thing is new to me, but I was impressed with Dr. E. Hopefully this is going to work fo me. Sherry
  25. Rachel, it does sound like cobra is upset... To Cobra: we're sorry buddy, but you have to vacate our friend Rachel and since you won't do that on your own... I am feeling better today, take extra charcoal or chlorella when I need. Also the lemon water last night (first try) REALLY helped! Thanks again, guys, for all your suggestions over the months...
